While searching to work for the postal service I clicked on a link. They talk about hiring with the postal service ask information on what your looking for just like it does on the acuall website. Thinking this was right I put the information in and wondered why I had to pay to file an application. Moments after doing it I looked it back up and the post office talks about scams and misleading companies that mimic there site so it looks like your applying even though its not. I have contacted this company 5 times for a refund. I emailed them moments after doing it however the email they have on site doesnt work. I then cheated on aug31st and the sep 1 both said there were emailing the right place and somone would reach out. Of course no one did. So I called the following week on 9/7 no resolution and asked for a sup so they set a callback I was called right befor the person left and couldnt call them back minutes later and the number they provide go right back to customer service. So I called again on 9/8 and was told I would get a cb again and that they only have one supervisor for this misleading shady company. I want a refund as I never wanted or needed there service. This site is very misleading in the put that are a third party at the very bottom of the website in a dark grey box and they no people dont read it.

      ********************,

Thank you for reaching out and providing an opportunity for us to address your concerns on this public platform. First, I would like to apologize for the level of service that you received. It was not on par with what we commit to provide to our customers. At this time, I will address each point in your complaint and hopefully provide some clarity.

You mentioned that our website asks questions about what you are looking for just like the actual **** website. This is not accurate. The **** does not ask questions about your preferences. It is not interactive, it only provides information, it does not ask for information. That is one of the many ways our site differs from the **** website.

Next, you mentioned that you believed you were paying to file an application. We make sure that anyone interested in registering for our services is very clear that they are NOT paying to apply for a job or to complete an application, so this is explained in our Terms and Conditions and you are required to agree that you have read and understand this PRIOR to paying the registration fee. So you would have agreed that you understood you were NOT paying to apply for a job before you entered your card information and paid the registration fee.

The Post Office does, in fact, warn about companies that scam people into believing they are helping them to get a job. We actually provide the same warnings about these companies, and we receive hundreds of calls each and every day from customers that have been scammed by those companies and now have no way to contact those companies now that they have paid their money. We are not those scamming companies. We actually do help people to get hired and we provide video testimonials from some of those people that now work at **** and credit our program for helping them to get the job.

Regarding our email not working, I am not sure what the issue is that you were experiencing. We do not seem to have an issue with our emails. We are successfully sending and receiving emails from our **************** email address. Perhaps there was a temporary service issue at that time that has since been resolved.

I have reviewed the chat communications and listened to the phone recordings. I do believe that our agents followed procedure and communicated the correct information to you regarding the refund policy. However,I do believe the situation could have been handled in a quicker and more professional manner. For that I do offer our most sincere apologies.

Lastly, you mentioned that we disclose that we are a third party at the bottom of the website where we do not want people to read it. This is not true. In addition to placing it on the bottom of each and every page of the website, we also explain who we are in these other areas of the website: About Us, Frequently Asked Questions, Privacy Policy, and as I previously mentioned, in the Terms and Conditions which each and every person must agree to have read and understood prior to completing their registration and paying any fees. So, clearly we are not trying to hide the fact that we are a third party.

I hope this response has cleared up some misconceptions you may have had. Despite the fact that your refund request did not meet the criteria of the Refund Policy, we have honored your request and processed your refund on 9-9-22 (Transaction ID#**********) and the funds will be available to you according to the terms and conditions of your bank or financial institution. In addition, and to show good faith, this week I will also be sending you several complimentary Development Modules as part of a separate training program we offer. I think you will find them very dynamic and valuable in your job search. We wish you good luck in all your future endeavors.

Today July 22, 2022 I was applying for a job at the Post Office. I somehow connected to this website thinking that it was connected to the Postal Service. I thought it was odd they were asking for money for job but I am searching so I went along to help the process. Well the whole thing is an absolute joke. Applying for a job and taking an assessment you can do easily on your own. So what is it theyre helping with? Other than making people assume they are affiliated with the postal service. I called to get a refund and was read a repetitive script from a woman who couldnt answer my questions. All I want is my money back. They did not help me and it was in fine print at the bottom of the stinking page that they are not affiliated with the ***** Future users beware of this scam website. I dont even know how someone can sleep at night doing this to people. Please help me get my money back.

Thank you for reaching out to the BBB with your concerns and giving us the opportunity to respond within this public forum. We appreciate being able to provide explanations publicly to each of your complaints.

First, yes our site is going to look as if it relates to the US Postal Service because it promotes careers with the US Postal Service and we are in the business of helping applicants to get hired there.

You mentioned you thought it was odd they were asking for money for a job.  To clarify, you were not paying for a job.  You paid for our resources and services.  We clearly state that we are not affiliated with the **** and we are a third party company. We do have this clarifying statement at the bottom of each page of our website.  We not only explain at the bottom of the page who we are, we explain this at the bottom of each and every page of our website, in the About Us section of the website, in the FAQs, in the program material, Privacy Policy, and also in the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to PRIOR to you paying your registration fee which was intentional so that we ensured that you clearly understood this before you registered for the program of assistance.

When you reached out to us for a refund, we reiterated our Guarantee that you agreed to and that we stand behind. It states that we are so confident in our ability to get you hired and we believe in the effectiveness of our program so much that if you follow it and do not pass one of the four entry level assessments or are not offered the job within 30 days of the interview process, then you get a full refund.  Although your refund request did not fall under one of these two criteria, we still processed your refund on 7-25-22 at 3:45pm EST as a show of good faith.

It is unfortunate that you did not realize the value of our program like so many others have. We would have loved the chance to help you get hired and start your new career.  We wish you good luck with your job search and future endeavors.

Fraudulent website hounding unemployed people for money to help them get a job.

      Business response

      07/14/2022

      ******************,

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to your complaint on this public forum. However, it is unclear exactly what you are unhappy about. Here, it states that you feel we are hounding unemployed people for money to help them get a job. However, we do not do cold calls or seek out people in any way. You sought us out and visited our website and then voluntarily registered for our program. That is not in any way our company hounding you or any other customer. We attempted to open the file that was provided with the complaint, but it was just a blank page. There was nothing else stated in your complaint.

We pulled the phone recordings in an attempt to gather additional information as to what may have occurred however that was to no avail. You called our help center on 7-13-22 and stated you wanted to reverse a charge on your card which is something that should have been directed to your bank, not us. When the representative attempted to walk you through our refund policy, you hung up on her within a few seconds before she could assist you. She did process a full refund for you immediately as she recognized how upset you were But since you had hung up on her, she could not advise you of this. Therefore, she provided the following message to you in writing that same morning and sent it to the email address you provided during your registration:

I want to inform you that we are in the process of issuing a full refund for your program registration. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed. It will be processed by the end of the next business day and made available to you based on the terms and conditions of your financial institution. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at ************.

But you continued to file a complaint about hounding you, which did not happen, and request a refund, which was already provided. It is unclear why you proceeded in this manner.
Regardless, we hope that you are now satisfied and wish you good luck with your job search and all your future endeavors.

I am rejecting this response because: I have not been refunded.

your business is predatory. you claim that its impossible to get through the postal worker assessment without you, then you have a program that doesnt work. I did not use your product because it was faulty and would not open. I then realized your websites claims were false when it literally said your product was a step in the application process.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

      Business response

      07/21/2022

We never made a claim that it is impossible to get through to a postal assessment without our program. On the contrary, throughout our website we explain that our program is optional. This is explained in the disclaimer that is on each and every page of our website, in our FAQs, and also in the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to prior to registering and paying for the program, which indicated that you understood this. Also, if you had an issue opening our program, we would have been more than happy to provide you with assistance to help resolve that technical issue. It sounds like a simple fix.

We have,in fact, processed your refund. It was done on 7-13-22 and I have attached the transaction receipt as proof. The funds are available to you according to the terms and conditions of your bank or financial institution therefore I would recommend reaching out to them to follow up on the refund. It has been processed on our side and is now out of our hands.

Our business is not predatory. Again, our program is completely optional. We have helped many applicants to be hired at the Post Office which is evidence that our program is effective and not a program filled with false claims. Again, we wish you good luck in your job search.

On June 20, I searched ****** for a part-time job at the US Post Office. What came up was a web site US Job Services (job-postal.com) whose website gives the definite impression it is connected to the US Postal Service. Only in the small print at the very bottom of the page does is add the disclaimer that it is an independent job placement service. After reviewing the information, I determined I wasn't interested. I also wondered why the Postal Service would charge $89 to apply for a job. When I contacted US ************ they refused to issue a refund reading from a long script. When I called the following day, **** in the business office agreed to refund half the $89. That hasn't happened. Their website is deceptive to say the least, which I explained to her. The color scheme and logo give the appearance of the official site of the US Postal Service. At this point I'd like a full refund.

      **************.

Thank you for reaching out to the BBB with your concerns and giving us the opportunity to respond within this public forum. We appreciate being able to provide explanations publicly to each of your complaints.

First, yes our site is going to look as if is relates to the US Postal Service because it promotes careers with the US Postal Service and we are in the business of helping applicants to get hired there.

Secondly,we not only explain at the bottom of the page who we are. You mentioned that **** in our Business Office agreed to refund half of the $89 but that did not happen. This is inaccurate. She did process the refund and I have provided proof of such with the transaction detail showing the refund was processed on 6-21-22 at 5:27pm EST. And I did hear on the call recording that she advised you that the funds would be available to you according to the terms and conditions of your bank or financial institution. So because the funds were not immediately available to you did not mean that we did not process your refund. As you can see from the enclosed documentation, your accusations are not accurate.

We did process half of the refund as we stated we would, despite the fact that you did not meet the criteria of our refund policy just because we were showing good faith. To continue showing good faith, we proceeded to process the remainder of the refund on 6-22-22 as per your request and that documentation is attached herein as well.

It is unfortunate that you did not realize the value of our program like so many others have. We would have loved the chance to help you get hired and start your new career with ***** We wish you good luck with your job search.

My bank notified me late on 6/23 that my account was credited for a total of $89. I'd like to point point that I believe the company rep told me that I would receive a confirmation email concerning a partial refund at the close of business on 6/21/22. I did not receive a confirmation email so I contacted BBB on 6/22/22. I'd like to also point out that again the disclaimer that Job Placement Services is not affiliated with the US Postal Service is mentioned at the very bottom of their page. In the future I hope in the futile the company would make that more apparent to avoid future confusion.

Thanks for your assistance in obtaining my refund. Please consider the case closed.

Today May 12th I was applying for a position for the **** and thought I had to pay a registration fee for the application. Fee was 89 dollars then, found out from my fiance that the post office doesn't charge for applications. So then I found out this was some kind of placement agency. Not at all what I thought I was paying for. They also say they are an A rated member BBB. CAN YOU HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK. Right from the search on ****** thought I was applying for a job, not rendering any services. They refused to offer any kind of refund till I failed all 4 assessments or don't get hired after interview. This is quite misleading.

      Business response

      05/18/2022

Thank you for reaching out to the BBB and allowing us an opportunity to respond to you on this public forum. First, I want to clarify, you were not applying for a position for the **** when you were going through our registration process. You are only able to do this at ****.com. This is explained on our website. What you were doing was registering for our program of assistance to help you get hired at ****. This is also explained on our website on the bottom of every page that you visited,in addition to the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to prior to entering your payment information and moving forward to registering for our program of assistance.

You stated that you were informed by your fianc that the post office does not charge for applications. This is correct. We also state this on our program of assistance and throughout our website in the Terms and Conditions, FAQs, and Privacy Policy.

You stated the program of assistance was not at all what I thought I was paying for but again, you agreed that you understood this when you agreed to the Terms and Conditions prior to paying your registration fee.

You claimed that we stated we were an A rated member BBB. This is inaccurate. We never claimed to be a member of the BBB. We stated that we had an A rating with the BBB which is true.

Although your refund request did not fall under one of these two criteria, we still processed your refund on 5-12-22 as a show of good faith. We want you to be successful in your future endeavors and wish you good luck on your job search.

Trying to get my $89 refund for information that was very misleading. This business should inform potential customers that it is a study guide we are actually paying for. Not at all a job placement service. Im sure they are paying big $$ to be at the top of a ****** search. Online predators should put as much effort into a real job.

      Business response

      02/21/2022

Thank you for reaching out to the BBB. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and to do so in a public forum.

You mentioned in your complaint that we should inform customers that they are actually paying for a study guide and not for a job placement service. This is not accurate. We do not merely provide a study guide, and we are considered a job placement service because we walk candidates through every step up in the postal hiring process until placement is achieved. If it is not achieved, then the registration fee is refunded.

Our program provides the following: Step by Step instructions on how to accurately complete the eCareer Account Profile (if this is not done properly, candidate is disqualified from consideration), Step by Step instructions on how to search and locate entry level jobs (if this is not done properly, candidate will not see all available job opportunities),Step by Step instructions on how to accurately complete the online application (if this is not done properly, candidate is disqualified from consideration),Practice Assessments (to allow candidate an opportunity to experience what the assessment will be like including sample questions, answers, and explanations as to what one answer is more desired over others), Interview Assistance Webinar (compiled by a panel of executive recruiters working in Fortune 500 companies), and Live Assistance via phone and chat for any questions or guidance you may need as this is not provided by ***** As you can see, this program includes much more than just a simple study guide.

These components have helped many of our clients get hired into entry level jobs. I encourage you to read the Customer Reviews here at the ******************** as well as view our testimonials page where you can hear from some of those people yourself as they credit our program as the reason they were hired.

So yes, we do consider ourselves a job placement service. It may not be the traditional job placement service (as those are becoming more outdated every day), but it provides the service just as well.

In good faith, we have processed your refund as requested, despite the fact it did not meet the criteria of the Guarantee. We wish you good luck in your job search and all future endeavors.

Simple. This company POSES as a job placement company. Job placement companies typically transact between the the business you apply for, not with the job seeker. I spoke with ***** M who told me at the end of this day Feb. 11th 2022 that I would receive a refund. But with the experience I have already had I am concerned they will not honor their 100% Money Back Guarantee as listed on their company website. I had not even applied for a position with the **** when I had submitted a payment to their company which means they do not transact or communicate with the ****. It is listed in fine print at the very bottom that they are not affiliated with **** but that does not benefit the customer and is listed for legal purposes. This company preys on desperate job seekers and should be avoided at all costs.

      Business response

      02/14/2022

      ******************,

Thank you for reaching out to BBB and sharing your opinions. We appreciate the opportunity to respond publicly.

Our program helps post office applicants to get placed into entry level positions. Placement can only happen if the applicant completes the account/eProfile and application accurately, achieves a high rating on the required assessment, and does well in the interview with the Postmaster. We help in all of these areas, therefore we assist with job placement at ***** This is not a typical job placement company because the postal hiring process is not the typical hiring process.

Yes, you are correct that we do not transactwith ***** But we never claimed that we did. We clearly state that we are not affiliated with **** and we are a third party company. We do have this clarifying statement at the bottom of each page of our website like you stated. But we also include this information in Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, FAQs and multiple times throughout the program material. We actually require each customer to agree to the Terms and Conditions PRIOR to making payment so that we can ensure the customer is aware of who we are and what our role is in the postal hiring process before paying a single *****. You had to have agreed that you read and understood these terms PRIOR to making your registration payment.

We do not prey on anyone. Our program is optional. We do not reach out to people to prey on them. Interested persons may read our material and decide if they would like to register for the optional program or not. That is not preying on anyone. That is offering a service that will increase your chances at getting hired and in the shortest amount of time.

Our program is very effective because we have put in a lot of work researching and testing the process. We know how it works, and we provide a program which shares with you the tips and techniques which will result in a job offer when combined with the high assessment score in which we help with as well. We provide practice assessments which help you to prepare for the actual assessment.

We have helped many, many people to get hired at **** and I encourage you to read those comments in the BBB Customer Reviews as well as view our video testimonials from those that are actually working at ***** Each of these customers express that they would never have gotten through the process with such a high level of success and gotten the job without our program. That reflects the effectiveness of our program and the value it providesdirectly from consumers/customers/applicants.

***** did, in fact, process your refund on Friday, Feb 11 as discussed. Now your bank/financial institution will determine when those funds will be available to you.

We wish you good luck on your job search.

      ************************,

Thanks for reaching out and allowing us an opportunity to respond to you in this public BBB forum.

In your complaint you stated that both our email and phones are inoperable. That is inaccurate. We have recorded phone calls with you, two on Dec 28. Our records also show that you called several other times however you hung up prior to being connected to a live agent. We have also checked our email system and there are no emails coming from your registered email address however we have gotten emails from our other customers which indicates that our email system is working. We also do not show that you reached out to us via Live Chat either. We would have been happy to assist you with whatever you needed.

Besides the allegation that our communication systems do not work, I am unable to tell from your complaint if there were any other concerns that you had.

We have honored your request and processed your refund on Jan 12. The funds should be available to you according to the terms of your bank or financial institution. We wish you good luck on your job search.

      ********************,

Thank you for reaching out to the BBB and affording us the opportunity to respond to you in this public forum. I apologize for the late response. We actually did not get notified about your complaint until today, 12-15-21. This may be due to the BBBs recent data migration with their reporting system. Your complaint was originally sent to us right after that migration, however, was never received. I have reported this technical issue to the BBB and they have noted this file accordingly.

I look forward to addressing each point in your complaint and demonstrating to you that we are not a scam.

First, we educate jobseekers on **** careers and promote those job opportunities which many jobseekers are not aware are even available or obtainable with no experience. We do this by showing images of postal employees in those entry level jobs that we help candidates prepare for. It is not reasonable to think **** jobs can be promoted without showing parts of the **** jobs in question. However, we never claimed to be ****. We explain that we are a third party company that helps jobseekers to be successful in the postal hiring process and to get hired in the shortest amount of time possible.

This is not a trick. The service we provide is ABSOLUTELY related to entry level jobs at ****. Our program includes step by step instructions on how to properly complete the account/eCareer Profile (if done incorrectly then you are disqualified from consideration), step by step instructions on how to properly search for jobs (many people do not perform this step properly and as a result do not see a complete listing of job postings), step by step instructions on how to complete the online application (if done incorrectly then you are disqualified from consideration), tips and techniques on how to obtain a high rating on the required assessment including providing practice assessments (if you do not secure a high rating then you are not invited to interview), preparation on the interview with Postmaster including what questions to expect and how to formulate your responses in advance to ensure the ideal responses (if you do not perform well in the interview it will decrease your odds of getting hired), and also Live Support via phone and chat for any assistance you may need (**** does not offer help in this area so if you get stuck on a step there is no one to help you troubleshoot). It is clear that our program does, in fact, help with getting an entry level job offer from the post office.

In fact, we believe in our ability to get you hired that if you use our program and do not pass the required assessment or do not get the job offer within 30 days of the interview process, then you get a complete refund.

I would encourage you to view our video testimonials where you will see **** employees that used our program to help get them hired. You will hear them explain how they would not have gotten hired without our program. These are actual cases of our customers who have been hired by ****.So obviously our program works and we are not a scam.

Regarding extended hold times, I do apologize about that. This seems to be an issue experienced all across the country as a result of a need to improve our labor force during this difficult time of the Coronavirus pandemic. We are working hard to hire more Customer Support Representatives to work in our contact center so that we may answer the phone quicker to assist our customers.

It is unfortunate that we were not able to help you to get hired at ****. As a show of good faith, we processed your refund on 12-15-21. The funds will be available to you according to the terms of your bank. We wish you good luck in your job search.

They promised a post office job, but made it impossible for me to get to the assessment they require. I was going from one page to the next with no ending. It also fell like they were just collecting information about me.

      ********

Thank you for reaching out to the BBB with your concerns. We appreciate hearing from all of our clients and having the opportunity to respond to your concerns publicly.

First to be clear, we did not promise a post office job. On the contrary, we clearly state in several areas of our website and material that we are not involved in any hiring decisions and we do not guarantee a job. What we offer is a guarantee that our material will be effective. It is designed to help you achieve a high assessment score and a job offer within 30 days of the interview process. If this does not happen, then you get a full refund. This is guaranteeing the efficacy of our program, not promising you a job.

I am not clear on what you meant by made it impossible for me to get the assessment as our program explains in detailed steps how to get the invitation to take the assessment(s). We have not had issues with anyone following our program not being able to get an invitation to take the assessment.

You mentioned that you were going from one page to the next with no ending. There is definitely an ending with a specific goal in mind, getting the job offer. We provide a lot of information, not only about the postal hiring process, but also about entry level job descriptions, **** compensation, **** federal benefits, how the assessments are presented, tips and techniques for answering the questions, guidance on the interview, etc.Yes, that is a lot of information however it is all pertinent when going through the process of starting your career with ****. This is a very completive process and our program covers all the information you need to be successful, plus much more.

Regarding your feeling of collecting information on youwe do ask you for your job preferences and geographical location. This is so that we may send you Job Alerts via email and text messages when a job you want becomes available in your area, however, this is explained in the program. With the postal hiring process, it is vital that you start the process of applying for a job as soon as it becomes available because there are time limits associated with each position. The sooner you apply, the sooner you can be invited to take the assessment, and ultimately the sooner you can get to the top of the hiring list.

We would have loved to help you get hired at ****. As per your request, we processed your refund on 12-2-21. We wish you good luck with your job search.
