I initially contacted ********************************* because she had been advertising her lash tech courses. I chose to get the lash course that was $1,200. This lash course included lots of products and materials, it was a 2 day course and it would give me the chance to shadow her and receive a certificate of completion at the end. I told her I wanted October 24th and 25th. We both agreed those days worked. I show up at 8:30 on the 24th and i see no cars, the doors are locked and shes not responding to my calls/texts. I waited because, I understand things happen. I waited for about 20 mins and she never showed up. I didnt hear from her until 2 hours later. she reached out saying she was sorry, she had mixed up the dates. I thought it was unprofessional and was probably a lie but by this time I had already given her a $200 deposit to reserve the dates. She apologized and offered that I came first thing next morning. I show up the next day at 9am. She was unprepared and late, she needed a minute.I completed the first day. Before I left she told me the rest of the total was due in cash. I gave her the remaining balance of ****. She then asked if I needed a few days to practice so that Id feel fully prepared for my second day where Id be practicing on a real model rather than just a mannequin. I told her I thought id take a few days and then Id reach out for my second day. I texted her 3 days later saying I was ready for my second day. I didnt hear from her until almost a week later saying shes been sick and unable to work. She said she wasnt ready.We talked, I expressed my concerns basically letting her know I didnt trust this anymore. I told her I wanted a refund and did not want to continue. She replied and ultimately it came down to agreeing that there was no going back and so we agreed on a partial refund of $700+materials that I never received. She agreed and asked for my PayPal information I gave her my information and NEVER heard from her AGAIN.
