In Nov 2022 we had a new unit installed by Cool Masters (CM). In July 2023 we noticed evidence of water coming from cabinetry in our basement. We called them out after a plumber confirmed the issue was not a water leak from the plumbing and based on what they could see it was related to the **** unit. CM came out and stated that the issue was condensation from the charge line running out and that they had recharged it. Seemed like a lot of water for what was not a week but I took them at their word and monitored. The water continued. I had called insurance company as well the first day I noticed and based on behind cabinet damage they denied cliam as it had been happening for some time.Since the first trip, I have tried to contact the company multiple times to get them to repair the damage caused or start an insurance claim but I get no calls back. **** (Manager) was that last person I spoke with but no return call from the Service Manager they are stating has to deal with this issue.I did find the cause of the leak which was the drain line coming from our attic level unit where it had been broken from the installation in ********* ********* and other resources that responded confirmed as they pipe was broken but slightly aligned so leak during winter and springs was minor given usage. 7/3/23 was start of hot weather and greater amounts of water. I fixed the leak and am now looking for repair to my basement.
