We had our outside AC unit replaced back in December 2022, the company came and installed, they came back within the first 6 months, after that the unit was replaced, and no problems until now, the unit is no longer working and they will not answer or text back and no one is at the office.Initial Complaint

Company installed an ** unit and in less than a year it was broken again. When they installed it they did not place back on top of the wooden beams like the previous unit they removed, which is a damage prevention measure. They need to correct this issue because every time my unit leaks, it's sitting in 2-3 inches of water. I had gone through my home warranty company to get the people who installed the unit to come back out. They excepted the claim, scheduled appointment, and never showed. I've had no air for almost a week due to the inconsistencies of this company. They will not return any calls and my unit has been sitting in water because of how they improperly installed the ** unit. I am now forced to hired another technician to fix the situation.Initial Complaint

Contractor, needs to deliver the reciept outlining the cost of repairs for my HVAC unit, the Length of Warranty for the Labor, and the Length of the Manufactures Warranty for both the Air Handler unit and the Condensor Unit. It took ***** more than 30 days to bring the units and install them. He missed 3 appointments, he did not answer 6 of my calls. he did not call to say the was not going to be there on his missed appointments. Zero follow through. After 5 calls to Mister ***** and 4 Calls to Choice Home Warranty, I have never recieved a detailed receipt.I look forward to read ***************** reply to this POST.The worst customer service I have experienced in 40 years. If Choice Home Warranty says they are sending Solutions HVAC.....You're Screwed!Initial Complaint

Choice Home Warranty assigned this company to me on 12/16/22 to complete a repair to my HVAC system. This company missed two appointments and came out twice to do evaluations, failing to fix anything at either visit. When they came the end of March, they took my motor with them. I made several complaints about their level of service. When they came back again on 4/10/23, they were suspense to be replacing the compressor. Choice was aware of all this because I was suppose to pay $400 of which I never did because the repair that was approved by Choice was never done. According to Choice the owner of the company told them to tell me he completed the repair. This company was paid for services they did not complete. Since they took my motor, I had to get an entirely new system. I couldnt even call anyone else because there was no motor to look at. Choice Warranty told me the issue was between me and the vendor even though they sent them to my home.Business response

We went out to this home as a second opinion. Her motor had a power surge on it and the warranty company denied her claim. The original company couldn't do anything either due to the warranty that she's has in place. Her warranty chose not to cover the motor so there was nothing else that could be done at her home with out her paying out of pocket and she choose not to do that.Initial Complaint

This company was scheduled by our Choice ************************ They came to our home on Monday Oct. 17 they ordered the part that was needed to add Heating strip unit. They were scheduled to service our home yesterday 11/17 between the hours of 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. We called the number provided, we SPOKE with **** from Solution Heating and Air. He confirmed his technician will come that day. No one ever showed up, no calls have been returned and now we do not know where we stand with our service. We paid the $75 Service fee, we pay the warranty company MONTHLY $67, we paid $2800 to have the whole HVAC Unit replaced and installed back in MAY. That was done with MISSING HEATING STRIPS. We have been waiting since MAY for these strips. Last night, it was 27 Degrees F. outside. We have small children and now neither the **************** OR Solution Heating and Air are responding to our calls and attempts to reach someone for a rescheduled time to fix our heating system. This is unacceptable.Business response

We are contracted through the customers warranty company ********************. We are not the company that installed this unit. The company that installed the unit was also contractors through Choice Home Warranty. For some reason that company failed to install the Heat Strips for this customer. We are not responsible for the mistakes of the installing company, we serviced this home as a second opinion for diagnosis only. This customer needs to take problems back to the installing company we were only contracted to perform a diagnosis and submit findings to Choice Home Warranty. Only money we collected was for the deductible of the diagnosis which the warranty company requires us to collect.
