On September 15th, 22. I paid in good faith $8395.00 to ************************** to paint my Mom's entire vacant home. This has been my worst experience ever. It was exhausting and demeaning to say the least. ************** failed me as a contractor. I checked his good BBB standing and a distance friend referred Him, but was not familiar with his other crews. ************* subcontracted the work to one of his crews. This resulted in shoddy, unfinished, unprofessional work. This crew spray painted everything (include my personal belongings) with little prep work to repair flawed walls, cabinets and door frames. They had NO respect for my personal property. When I complain about spraying all my personal belongings, the next day they took all my things and throw (not placed) them in my downstairs garage closet. When I complain about leaving my garage door open with the ** on (55) they still left it open. I have an enormous electric bill to prove it. I had to go by every day to secure my home. His crew started entering the house through the patio deck sliding door (according to neighbors) and removed the alarm sensor from the door. *********************** me for a 2nd payment for his workers for work that hadn't been completed. At that point I felt with 7 weeks into the work...it wasn't going to end well. I stopped payment on my check. AND it didn't end well. I am still tasked with sheetrock repairs, flawed area and unpainted areas. My kitchen sink is clogged (it wasn't before his crew started) and the downstairs toilet was removed to install a baseboard but not reinstall properly. I'll need a plumber as well. I am still cleaning paint from windows, door plates, faucets, mirrors, floors. My berber carpet has been cleaned but the areas that were spray painted cant be removed. I was reimbursed for the alarm door sensor and missing faucet. At this point I am seeking reimbursement of my berber carpet, missing brooms, bathroom vanity light, utility bill, to redo the shoddy work.
