On May 17th, 2023, I hired a contractor via a third-party advertising platform called Thumbtack. The contractors name is Bellas ****************** and they were to renovate my master bedroom. We agreed to an estimate of $5425 and a projected completion time of two weeks. The contractor **** asked for the payment to be 33% before starting the work, 33% halfway toward the end, and the remaining 33% would be based on satisfaction. However, before starting the work the contractor asked for 40%, and one week later he coerced me into paying the second third or he would pull his employee. I paid him just to have him finish as my master bedroom had been sitting unworked for months. The contractor sent only one single employee to work on my project. This employee didnt finish the work on time; He caused a major water leak in the plumbing, he damaged my merchandise, my brand-new mower, and my vehicle and when I reported him to his boss, he ran away. Following this incident, the contractor stopped the work leaving 60% of it unfinished, after collecting $4283.43 which is 79% of the agreed amount. Later, the contractor, in a text message tried to blackmail me to pay the remaining balance before he could come to finish the work, See IMG 0528. On July 5th he texted me stating that they wouldn't be coming to finish the work.I realized that I was scammed, so, on 08/10/23 I placed a review on Bellas ******Services describing the deceitful business and to warn potential clients. The next day the contractor sent me a fake message stating that they were willing to come to finish the work. I couldnt trust them, so I called the third-party advertising platform Thumbtack and reported the issue. Thumbtack immediately deactivated Bellas account and once I submitted the supporting documents to Thumbtack they annulled their contract with Bellas. In retaliation, the contractor filed a fraudulent lien on my property not with the court but with a third party called Levelset claiming that I owe them $6700. They also sent me multiple threatening text messages. *****'s ******Services for over 4 years now has been using a false address to register their business with the Secretary of State and to promote their business with ********* and many other platforms including the BBB.I have a multiple-count case against Bellas ******Services, and while they are claiming that I owe them an unsubstantiated $6700, ********** appraised the damages caused by Bellas ******Services unlicensed and undocumented employee at $8000.00.I need your assistance in canceling this lien as it is fraudulent. Bellas ******Services is known for placing illegal liens on projects as an extortion method.I have included:*************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Estimate, Proof of payment, Lien, text messages, and pictures of the damages, the ********** estimate. Respectfully,**************
