In March I had ****** Roofing, LLC come out for their "free" roof inspection that our insurance company requested. The guy that came out told us that we needed a new roof, no doubt insurance would be covering it, sold us a sketchy $676 "tarp" that was paid for that same day. Them doing the new roof was contingent on it being covered by insurance and they knew that was the case and that we could and would not pay out of pocket. The insurance claim was denied. No materials were purchased, no contract was signed and we are still being harassed by this company. Based on a number of other reviews he makes a living on lying scheming, and taking advantage of people with his "free" inspection. We are now "under investigation by his lawyer and he is seeking the entire contract price, the insurance quote they wrote up, to be paid in full-for no materials purchased and no work completed

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The document provided was a quote for our insurance company. It even says in the document that it's a soft estimate. Our claim was not approved, we were dropped from our insurance company because of the claim that we were told would get approved, "no problem". We also have two roofers and an adjuster that can and will attest to the fact that Copper Roofing damaged our roof and caused leaking when they improperly installed a $679 piece of plastic that they call a tarp. This is also the first we've heard from this company in close to 6 months; clearly they really wanted to put a new roof on our house since they provided no labor or materials, never came out to get actual square footage to order materials, and haven't contacted us again. Why did no one show up and slap a roof on if there was a "contract"? It says that no money is owed until completion of project in the document provided. *************************** is a scam artist and is doing this to multiple people, all of whom have contacted their local precincts since the letter sent from his "lawyer" lists fake investigators for each of the counties he's trying to pull this in. Just to reiterate--under no circumstance is Copper Roofing nor any of its affiliates are allowed on our property it is trespassing and there is no work to be completed by this company.

This company has been harassing me and making threats to me because I did not have them replace my roof. They are saying that the claim they filed with my insurance co.was theirs and it should have gone to them.I decided not to use them after seeing several bad reviews. I was charged $821.60 for a tarp that they put on,damaging my non leaking roof.I hope they can be stopped from ripping off and treating other people.
