*********************** is my son and was a patient there discharged today. The staff refused to give him his belongings and medicine. The bookbag had all of his clothes in it and personal belongings and they also refused to give him his phone which is in my name! I am mad! This hospital allows other patients to threaten milder patients and bully special needs people and doesn't counsel suicidal patients and my son is both. I want my son's belongings now!!Initial Complaint

Dates: September 13th - September 25th 2023 This hospital is the worst. My 19 year old daughter was admitted here from the emergency room. Now here's the facts she is not a resident of Georgia, she ran away from **********************, *******, where she was originally staying when she was attending college, etc.... these people took 2 weeks to contact me and when they did they had the nerve to tell me my daughter is getting discharge the next day I'm like lady. I live out town you got give 2 or 3 days to get things together. As prior complaints. The staff is rude, they do not answer their phone, and lastly when my daughter was discharge they did not give her a action plan and they made us wait to retrieve her items for over 2 hours.Why is this place still open with all the bad ratings. The nurses are hella rude. They never answer the phone. I got transferred to the wrong unit for my 25 year old daughter. They transferred me to the minors unit and a nurse name ***** gave me information on someone named *******. Even put her on the phone then realized I was transferred to the wrong unit. I can not get in touch with anyone during the day so I tried in the middle of the night and the nurse that I talked to was the rudest, nastiest piece of s*** I've ever talked to at a place of business. Again WHY IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN? Severely negligent, undertrained, and overall could care less staff. Find somewhere else, this is not the place to go to if you need help. Hostile and racist towards all, will use force against your children and not inform you, will sedate your children and not inform you Staff does not care and is abusive. Staff uses getting out as punishment and will push back release dates. Do not send anybody here. Terrible place to send your child!!!!! The nurses DO NOT CARE about your child and only are there for the paycheck!! They DO NOT separate the girls and boys WHICH THEY SHOULD!! super dangerous for girls and boys to be together In that place especially when their are patients with inappropriate behavior
