I was trying to purchase a car. When I arrived to look at the cars they had in April of 2024, they told me that the 2011 ******* sanata was a good car and that there was nothing wrong with the car. I asked them if there were any history or problems with the car and they stated it was a good car and nothing wrong with the car. They originally stated the car was $5,500.00, and he claimed with fees it would be $6000.00. They stated they can only do money orders so I had to get a money order to make the payment. Once I purchased the car headed home I realized the horn didn't work, and the car had several recalls. They stated they could not do a refund because he gave me a special, and it's sold as is. I took the car to ******* to fix the recalls, including the anti-theft system, and lastnight 7/10/2024 around 9:30pm my car was stolen. I filed a police report which is the picture I included with the case number. I told the person who sold me the car that I did not want to purchase a car that had problems and I did not know about the recalls on the car and that this was a car that gets stolen often which is a big problem for me as a single mother. I feel he over charged me knowing the types of problems these cars have. I have talked to him several times about getting at least a portion of my money back which he denied and stated he gave me a fair price for the car. I need help because I don't know where to go from here.
