I had Bynum septic out at my home on December 1st to pump the tank.the technician that came out said the tank was not FULL.I was not totally convinced but he stated it more than once.so upon inspection there was a lot of grease in the line.so since I was told the septic did not need pumping.I approved for the grease to be cleaned out of the line for $375.everything was good for about 5 days and the issue returned with water backing up in my kitchen sink from the upstairs bathroom. So I call Bynum again and inform them that my tank is full and it needs to be pumped. The same techs came out and informed me the septic failed and a Drain field needs to be replaced.I know this because every year I have it pumped Im told this so I was aware. The only difference is after my tank is pumped and the grease is cleaned out it works fine after what ever septic company I use.I just wished I had called some of the past companies.Another complaint is the truck they brought out was to small it did not pump half of the tank.the techs showed me the line but the tank was still half way full.My septic is 1000-1100 gallon tank. The techs should have brought a larger truck to EMPTY my tank.Even if the tank was over full of which it was. That was the reason they were called. If it were not over filled I would have no reason for them to come out.Ive been in my home almost 29 years and I have never had a septic company tell me about the overflow they just pump it and bring a large septic truck to drain my tank.I then called a plumber who snaked the line of which Bynum did not do.Grease was still in the line.my plumber also replaced all the broken pipes so that is done.now today December 17 the water is backing up in my kitchen sink again because the tank was not drained properly.so I feel like Ive been ripped off.$374 for the supposed grease removal and another $400 for a tank that was not fully drained.Tech took $50 off .i should not have a full tank after 2 weeks.Very dissatisfied.

Bynum came out 9/23/22 to pump my septic tank. Told me it was a **** gallon tank, that I had 2 broken tank lids and my sewer lines would need to be replaced. I said no to replacing the sewer lines but agreed to the rest of the work. However, they said they had to order the lids and would have to come back out the following Mon to do that. I did have them pump the tank that day because it was past full and I was desperate (it had been 10 years since it was last pumped). Over the weekend, I changed my mind about having them do anything more (replace lids and add a riser) because I found out their price was higher than most ($2200). So I just paid for the pumping at $750. That was high, too, but I'm not angry about the price in and of itself. When a different company came to replace the lids (which did not need to be ordered, btw), they told me I had a 750 gallon tank and $750 was enormously high for that. So Bynum had lied about the size of my tank and charged me to pump what they said was a **** gallon tank. I emailed Bynum to let them know this and that I would like a partial refund based on that information. I have not heard back. As for the sewer lines needing to be replaced, the new company did some tests and did not see any reason to replace them. Bynum had told me the day they pumped my tank, that it could cost $10,000 to do that. Told me I would need to get the tank pumped every month or two until I had the new sewer lines replaced. I suppose, this way they could charge me every month or two to come out and pump. They also said that a permit would be required to do this (true), but it could take "several" months to get the permit. I called my county to inquire about this and they said weeks, not months. So Bynum lied to me so they could come out who knows how many more times to pump my tank until they could get the permit. I did get new lids and a riser on 9/28 from someone else. They said it shouldn't have cost me more $450 to have my 750 gallon tank pumped
