I went in to get a full set and was told my nails would be $85. My nails were not properly done. They sat me in ******* and he just put acrylic on and painted them. He didnt push my cuticles back, file my nails with the drill or anything. This service was supposed to take at least an hour and he was done in less then 25 mins. These nails wont last a week yet I was charged $85 I asked him to do them the right way and he refused I want a refund the service wasnt completed and he did a horrible job. I would like a refund and I believe this business should lose their license. They didnt follow procedures that are required, like hand washing for example the lady who owns it didnt even have on a mask which is putting peoples health at risk. I want a refund and I believe this shop should be inspected and investigated.Business response

This is a response to complaint 16951319.
When we do nails, we cut one nail to the length the customer wants and then tell them the price; if they're okay with it we go ahead but if they aren't, we don't do them. The customer came in at 6:55 PM. After he cut one nail for the customer, they asked the manager for the price and she said $87, which they agreed to. After the nails were finished around 8:05-8:10, they just paid $85. Furthermore, when customers enter without masks, we ask if they have one and provide masks for those who don't. We even have "Masks required" and "no mask no service" signs up front. Nail techs have to wash their hands between customers, and they have hand sanitizer bottles at their desks as well.
The customer's ******************** have already been done, and we spent over an hour on the nails. They haven't come back since, and we cannot refund them if they don't show us what's wrong with the nails instead of just filing complaints.
