On October 14, 2021, an employee of ********************************************* came to our RV in ****************************** to pressure wash our fifth wheel, including the sides and roof. When the employee indicated that the job was complete, my husband and I inspected our fifth wheel and noticed severe black streaking across the roof. The employee explained that he had cleaned a large, greasy, outdoor smoker prior to cleaning our fifth wheel and had not cleaned the hoses. The hoses left the black, greasy streaks. The employee said that he would clean the streaks off. Shortly thereafter, he let us know that he had cleaned the streaks. When we inspected, we were horrified to find that he had torn several holes in our fifth wheel roof with the pressure washer. Many areas of the roof were thinned out with the pressure washer and the roof is destroyed. We immediately called the owner of the company and asked him to inspect the damage. He responded that he would come by "when he had a chance." Days passed before he came to inspect the damage. He offered to repair the roof, but since he is not qualified to repair RVs, we declined. We had the damage inspected by RV repair companies and submitted the estimates to ******, the owner. We did not hear back from him for several days. I followed up with him again.He was unsure as to whether his business insurance, Nationwide, would cover the damage. He submitted the claim and the insurance company was in touch with me on one occasion. They explained that the coverage may be $5000 but they aren't sure if this claim will be covered. I have followed up with them three additional times with no resolution. I also followed up with ****** who has provided no resolution. I am seeking $10,000, the cost for replacing my RV roof. As a side note, ****** has the BBB Accredited logo on his website, yet your site indicates that he is not accredited. This is fraudulent. Had we known that he wasn't accredited, we wouldn't have chosen his company.
