I took my 2016 ***** Tahoe to Furm Quality auto in the month of July 2022. My air stopped working out of the blue and this shop was recommended to do good work. The work was not done properly and I was charged $750.00. I took the truck there to have the air blow out cold and the owner hooked it up to a machine to see what was wrong. He told me I needed a new compressor and it would be back blowing out cold. When I picked the truck up I didnt check the air, I assumed the air would be cold and just paid. However, I was wrong. The compressor had been changed but the air was not blowing out cold at all. It was blowing air out like a fan. I asked the owner why and he proceeded to assure me once I started driving it would be cold. Three days passed and my son and I were burning up in the car. Feeling totally unsafe in ****** degree ******* weather. I called to schedule a time to take it back and I was told it would be fixed. I dropped the truck off for the second time and once I went to go pick it back up the problem was not fixed and the air was still blowing out the same. Once I arrived the owner left, and his son was there to hand me my keys. I informed him the car was still not blowing cold air and he asked if he could drive it around the block to test it out. Once he came back he told me I was correct and that the cars air wasnt cold and that it may be the condenser and not the compressor. I told him I couldnt afford to keep arranging rides and leaving the car there only for it not to have any changes. He agreed and told me that his dad had to fix it and make it right. I told him I would dispute because this was the second time and I would like my money back if not resolved.
