Spent 9 grand to have to redo almost every bit of plumbing and electrical they touched. The drywall was bad, the tile of the floor incomplete. They even installed the door with such a gap to the drywall that I had to custom fill and sand gaps. Then they demanded 6 grand more to finish the job. Don't pay them up front. Ever.

Mr Handyman of Macon an unbelievable experience and from start to finish. First, I've witnessed manipulations in the customer review sites from day to day for a company. Less favorable reviews appear suppressed and older favorable reviews displayed. Companies may pressure 5 star rating on a substandard performances. Personally, BBB seems a more credible review of complaints from both sides. Visible are both viewpoints and the company's commitment to its customers in resolution. On bad days character is how we recover ourselves thru accountability and corrective action.
My mishap(s) experience was similar w/ the former complainant; flooded flooring, wall cut open, clock time wasting, shoddy repairs. The job hire soon became damage restoration and mitigation projects. Thankfully, it concluded satisfactory and respectfully.
Company Strengths. 4/5 Provided restoration services of wall repair, carpet cleaning and hired water mitigation services. Mr Handyman remained polite, pleasant, prompt for showtimes, and reasonable with little prompting. Previously, in year 2018 had 5/5 servicing of a front door kick-in.
Job Performance Rating. 3/5 grade of job skill for sink, door & threshold adjustments. Demonstrated lack of proficiency for hired job tasks and did exceed repair time. Company repairs did require re-inspection, redirection to re-repair & omissions (sink w/out caulk, doors not latching, rubbing). They were unwilling to close door frame gaps with shims (why take my job?). I did hired a secondary person to shim door in < 30 min and I easily shimmed 1 door.
Lastly, thank you former complainant for sharing your experience. I believe it encouraged parties to work together for reasonable & agreeable outcome for both.
