On October 24, 2023, I had a scheduled dentist appointment with Loganville Dental. According to my insurance provider, I was able to receive x rays and a dental cleaning at no out of pocket cost for myself. I had a consultation with the dentist and he stated that I would just need a light dental cleaning and there were no other relevant issues with my teeth. The billing clerk stated that I needed to pay $210.00 for a SPECIAL cleaning that I received and I didn't understand this. The insurance provider specifically stated that there was no cost to me for this service and it also states this in my dental coverage. They are billing me $210 and the insurance provider $201 which is $411 for a basic cleaning. I feel that I am being misled about these services.Business response

Our patient submitted an agreed upon treatment plan to you after our diagnosis made by our doctor. If he did not agree with the plan, he could have gone anywhere else for a second opinion. But instead, he was upset about the pricing after the work was completed.

I am rejecting this response because:
I should not have been charged for the service because the insurance company Humana stated that the cleaning was at no cost to me. I have filed a grievance against Loganville Dental with Humana.
