The dates for this is 1/29/24 through 7/22/24. On my initial visit I was told I would be receiving temporary denture and permanent dentures. I also asked about keeping my 4 lower teeth. The reply I got from Dr *** *** was they would probably only last 5 more yrs. She had all my teeth removed. The temporary dentures do not fit. She has continually insisted on me getting implants. On July 3rd I told her I could not afford implants. They are between $20-30,000. After I said that she has had nothing else to do with me. She referred me to a Prosthodontics saying she is just a GP , and is not qualified to do dentures ( thats what the receptionist told me when I called per Dr *** ). She also is saying I smoke and shes not comfortable doing the procedure. She never said anything like that until I told her I couldnt afford implants. She has refused to complete what was promised which includes my permanent dentures. My insurance has paid their part and Im stuck with a $3,440. Im disabled and I live on social security. This is a hardship for me. I would like for ******** to stop sending her patients that she can take advantage of, the elderly and not rich people. I would also like my money back so I can find a real dentist to make my permanent teeth. She already has been reported to the Better Business bureau twice. She keeps doing the same thing and nothing has happened to stop it.Business Response

I went to this dentist for an in-network covered procedure in January and dealing with this business has been a nightmare. They spout lie after lie and there is seemingly no escape from the run-around their office provides. They have been contacted by my insurance company (Aetna) multiple times telling them the procedure they performed is covered. ***** has even provided them (multiple times) a breakdown of what my financial responsibility is for the procedure. Despite this and requests from ***** that they cease billing me for any amount in excess of the actual amount owed, they have refused to correct the bill and have submitted the same incorrect bill to a bill collector.I have uploaded documents showing the correct amount owed as well as documentation of what this unethical business is submitting to the collection agency.Business Response

This is literally the worst place you can go to for any kind of dental work. We started by having an appointment and getting her impressions done and the fi literally almost choked my mom with the molding material they used and then got mad when we brought it up. She eventually got the plan of care and we were told we had to pay for the whole treatment upfront. We ended up paying almost 11k separating it in 3 cards. She had the surgery and after a few months of recovery we came back to find out they wanted 6k more in order to finish the job. Being so upset we needed up not finishing that day. You talk to several employees as you go through your treatment plan and when you finally confront them about what's been going on throughout this experience, they all deny any involvement. Literally a 10 thousand dollar procedure was payed for upfront for them to not get half the work done and refuse a refund until you ask for an explanation why the refund isn't supposedly possible. Months later still no partial refund for work that wasn't completed my mom still has no implants. When I made the Dr. aware of this all she could say was sorry. The other dental assistant that spoke Spanish assumed my mom didn't speak English and was talking bad about my mom to the Dr. and when my mom came up behind her and asked to be shown to the bathroom the tech literally told the doctor "don't worry she doesn't understand" knowing **** well my mom was right in front of her and yes she understands! Had no apologies no kind of acknowledgement for racial act that she literally made toward her even though the tech is Hispanic herself. Truly disgusting and horrific experience. Please help us settle this my mom needs her treatment finished somewhere else and they also wont give us the refund promised after work wasn't completed.Business Response

Regarding Ms. ** La P**** concern, we made her an offer for refund, however, she had also filed a complaint with her third-party financing company, therefore needed to await resolution. As her claim was denied with the third-party financing company, we are willing to give her another offer contingent upon a signed release of liability.
