Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/18) */ CGR Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member owned financial cooperative, chartered and incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia. We are unable to provide the specific details or provide account information to an unauthorized third party (by contract) on a member's business with our organization. We can however disclose our general policy as it relates to Member Identification and credit reporting. In the process of membership account opening and deciding and granting a member a loan, the member is required to present two forms of identification. The member also signs an agreement that gives CGR Credit Union permission to access credit information at the time of the loan or anytime the Credit Union deems it necessary to continue or collect the debt. When a member breaks their promise to repay the Credit Union and creates a loss, the accounting and the reporting of that loss indicates it is "Charged Off" however this does not in any way imply that the debt is settled or not owed to the credit union. Therefore the credit report is accurate and will continue to report the loss and any inquiries made by or on the behalf of the Credit Union. The member disputed what was reported to the credit bureaus directly to the reporting agency or agencies (we report to all three major bureaus). The dispute indicated to provide or confirm complete ID. We conducted a reasonable investigation of the dispute and submitted the response in a timely manner. We determined that the data reported was an accurate reflection of the account record. If the member has filed a police report and completed the Identity Theft Affidavit, it can be submitted to the Credit Union to remove the trade line from the consumer's report.

I been canceled these accounts in which I transferred everything to my new account I opened in****** ********* I been with this credit union for years poor customer service and dissatisfaction. They only care about my deposits. Won't help for car refinancing. I know my credit is poor only because I keep getting blown bad deals. I'm. not perfect but being a loyal customer it shouldn't matter my credit score. What matters is they take automatic withdrawal so they will always get the funds from me in that since. I'm fully vaccinated and I had COVID twice my job won't pay at all. So I lost a total about 2,500 of my salary for those 2 months. I'm not out to get a free ticket what's right is right.
