I made a purchase of 4 items from ************************** ** ***** *** 2023 in the total amount of $45 ********** *** - order # ***** The books took over 1 month to arrive. I called the vendor to inquire about the order and left messages. After a few weeks I was finally able to reach someone ###-###-####) at the business by the name of Alicia M******. She told me the books will be shipped. I received the parcel in the mail *** **, 2023. When I opened the parcel the books were soiled/damaged. The damage was not due to travel/transportation from the courier. The vendor mailed those items to me in soiled/damaged condition. I called the company on *** *** ** * ** and received no answer. I called another company that is affiliated with this business called ***** ******* ###-###-#### on *** *** A woman answered and it was the same person who I spoke with originally at AEOE bookstore. When I asked if it was Alicia, the phone went dead. I didn't hear anything, and said "Hello?" I then repeated my question. The woman said "No", and I asked what her name was under her breath she replied "Monica". She attempted to cover up her voice, lied about her identity, and is now avoiding issuing me a refund for my purchase. It was the same woman Alicia, I spoke to at AEOE bookstore earlier in May. I sent an email with photos of the items to the company requesting a refund on *** *** I received a reply from *********************** stating "return them to". There was no mention of a refund at all! Also, I already paid for shipping which was included in the total purchase price. I had concerns about what kind fluid/spoilage was on the damaged items, the cause being unknown to me didn't feel safe. I requested a return label for the soiled items they were asking to be return, and no response was given. I was lied to, ignored and cheated as the item description on the website DID NOT say the items are "damaged" or being sold "as is". Also, I was not issued a receipt of payment.Initial Complaint

On December ********* ordered three books, I payed for the three books using my cash card, in the amount of $46.00 Aeoebookstore, emailed me a receipt saying my order was received, but I never received the three books I ordered. On January ******** ordered three more books using my cash card, in the amount of $31.00 Aeoebookstore, emailed me a receipt saying that my order was received, but I never received the three books I ordered.I tried to contact Aeoebookstore, by phone but only an answering machine came on instructing me to leave a message with my phone number. So I did leave a message with my phone number. I also emailed Aeoebookstore, and I left a message on their website message section with my name and my contact number. I never received a response from Aeoebookstore. I would like to receive the six books I ordered, or a refund of the $77.00 total I paid them for the six books I never received.
