I was referred to Eurotech ******* by buddies at ****** Tire.Eurotech owner, ******************* presented himself as an Audi and Porsche expert technician with 25 plus years of experience.While servicing my 968 Porsche, ***** noticed my mileage odometer was not working and said he could repair it with ease.On (June 30th) I returned to have the odometer serviced to include an oil change and AC recharge.I sent email note to Euro-tech a day later requesting they Replace the LED light bulbs on the 968 cluster while its out.******************* not only repaired the odometer but ordered an LED light Kit and installed the kit. All of a sudden, according to *****, the cluster wont function properly. After about three days of blaming my old **** model car and doing his best to figure out what caused my 968 Porsche cluster to Fail! To no avail, ***** took off on a 2 week vacation leaving my damaged cluster in the hands of front desk receptionist and (Certified??? ) Technician ***********************. (Please verify all shop workers are Certified Technicians) ******* uncovered the fact that ***** ordered a LED light kit for a 944 Porsche cluster (see hereto invoice) and once he installed that kit into my 968 Porsche cluster it caused the cluster to Fail !!! ******* shipped off the damaged cluster to have it repaired ($425 plus sh)After ****** two-week hiatus, he came back and demanded that I pay the $500 cost of repairing the damaged 968 cluster. Admitting that the 944 LED kit he installed caused the problem, but I (the customer) am at fault because I should have never mentioned the word LED.Blaming the customer, because his 25 year, Mr. **** It All, persona was not aware that he could not put a 944 Porsche LED light Kit into a 968 Porsche cluster. He was Wrong and pass the cost off his Failure to the customers final invoice. I finally got my car back yesterday (July 29) a month later.Brain Ettl and Euro-tech ******* ripped me off for $500 for their mistake.
