      This is a soccer league. Its a two part year program. We are paid in full for our fall season. My daughter is 10 and they are refusing her departure without more money that they arent ***********. We were told by the man over the department we could leave. They are holding her player card that is needed to move onto another league and demanding part of spring dues. There is no contract for this. They charged my card and I reached out to my cc company for a charge back. Now they are requiring the money from the charge back to release her. Theyre literally wanting money they arent *********** nor are we committed to paying just to shame a child. We have jumped through every hoop and the only issue was when they charged me for additional money. Their ****** reviews show that this is their way of doing business. We want to shine light on their program and have her released from this scenario.

      SSA along with the all other youth Soccer clubs run in a year long program with 2 seasons comprising of Fall and Spring. Its expected that players are with the club for the year so that we can budget as a non for profit company in able to pay the staff. However upon finding out that this player was training with another club at the same time as playing with SSA, we agreed to release the player upon request after the player had been caught breaking US Club rules. Unfortunately due to owing tournament fees to a parent volunteer as well as filing a chargeback against the club for services provided and despite signing a contract and agreeing to a year round commitment, that release of the player has been delayed. As discussed, once the chargeback is resolved we  will be happy to release the player. Regards

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The fees towards the coach have been paid. You have an email with that included. 
      The charge back is for the spring which we will not be apart of as you stated. You need to provide documentation of where the terms are as you stated and you cant. Even in the emails from your staff, she isnt responsible to pay for spring. The chargeback is ** you took money for spring. 
      Fall, which is what she was present for, is paid, isnt it? As are the dues to the coach, which youve seen. 

      If youre holding her or charging us, you must provide where I committed to that. You can not.

      You are mistaken. We dont offer 1 season only. The club fees are for the total year. We budget as a non for profit for the total year like all Youth soccer clubs. The coaches fees you are quoting are outside club fees to cover tournaments. Heres the process-members accept multiple waivers when they enroll including a refund waiver  (see below)
      The player in question registered, accepted the team placement on June 8th and verified all waivers at that time.  The second payment was made by the family on August 1st and the 3rd was made Sept 15th as scheduled.
      The player was rostered to a team and participated.
      Oct 17th the family submitted a chargeback request stating the program was unacceptable.
      We are not looking to stop the player from participating elsewhere, we are just disputing the chargeback and not providing a refund as stated in the refund policy they signed. 
      Once the chargeback dispute is resolved she will be transferred 

      I accept that SSA fees are not optional and that no refund of fees paid will be issued under any circumstances, including circumstances outside of the control of the club that do not permit practice and/or game activities to be conducted, with the exception of a mandated shutdown of programs due to the virus severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which is responsible for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), and/or any mutation or variation thereof.

      My 4 year old boy payed soccer for SSA last season (Fall 2022). We purchased his uniforms (expensive by the way) so he can play. No big deal though since it would be good for 2 to maybe 3 seasons. We register him for this spring 2023 season and pay the fee. Then we find out that they were refunding our money because of too many kids. The kids that played last season should be welcomed back instead of new kids being picked! My son was actually good out there. There are snotty nose cry babies pouting all the time that have no business even being in sports. We have never had this happen with ************* or ************* soccer clubs. SSA is pitiful. I have to hear my 4 year old son ask me **** times a day what time his practice and games are. All he wants to do is play soccer. Half the kids on his team had no business in sports. SSA did refund our registration money 2 weeks after they decided to accept new kids instead of ones that were already there during the fall season. This is for Southern Soccer Academy branch in ******. **. I expect a call with an apology, a refund for the uniforms I purchased last season, or a call for an open spot!

      Hi

      I would like to point out that the player bought the uniform to play in the fall season and played the fall season.Families buy the uniforms to play in that particular season.We were unable to place the player in the Spring season and therefore refunded the registration fee. We are not going to refund for a uniform that the player played a full Fall season in.
