I signed up for a membership at this gym on June 6th when I was living in ******* last year. I moved away from ******* in early September for unexpected family reasons. Before moving, I requested to cancel my membership and filled out the form to do so (unsure of specific date but it was either the first week of September or last week of August). I was told that there was a 30 day cancellation period and that I would be charged again in the month of October. After October, I continue to be charged ***** every month despite filling out the proper paperwork to cancel the membership. After seeing the first fraudulent charge in November, I called them up and was told by an employee that my cancellation paperwork was in the system (he even mentioned remembering me filling out the form with him) and that he was going to alert the owner, and have him refund me and cancel future charges. Again in December I was charged, called the gym again, this time speaking to the owner. He was quite rude and dismissive over the phone and told me he would handle it. I called again the next week to ensure this issue was resolved and that my refund was on the way, the manager was more dismissive than before and told me to stop calling them. In my experience at that gym, the manager is not very friendly and can be quite aggressive at times, even before this issue came up. At this point, I know that the owner is aware that *** moved away, requested refunds, and to stop future charges, and the employee confirmed that my cancelation paperwork is valid and in the system. I have not been provided an explanation as to why I continue to be charged. The exact charges and dates are listed below Nov. 4 - $***** Dec. 5 - $***** Jan. 9 - $*****
