      They are very dishonest when delivering pine straw. They tell you the minimum you can have delivered and installed is 50 bundles, but they install less and charge you for the 50, if you are not out there counting. If you ask them to pull the number of bundles you order, they will not do it. The I-Team did an investigation on them back in 2015 and they are still being dishonest!Please do not do business with this company!

      I contracted Todays Pinestraw to deliver/install pinestraw on 4/1. During the install, one of the employees became verbally combative when I questioned the quantity of pinestraw that had been laid. He became increasingly aggressive and ultimately threatened to beat my a$$ in my yard. I ended up calling 911 as he repeatedly threatened me and would not leave. He told me he was not scared of the police and was going to wait for them to come. He eventually drove away prior to the police arriving. I also called the lady who had scheduled the install during the incident and told her what was going on and to have the owners contact me asap as the police had been called. Two days later and no follow up. Upon research the *** was administratively dissolved in Oct 2022 by the ****************.

      Do not trust ****************** at all...I watched three guys pull 30 ***** of pine straw off their truck/trailer and in turn, they charged me for 80 *****. I confronted them about the count and they denied everything. I called the office and of course, there's been no refund, apology or anything.

      They cheated me out of 8 bales of pine straw, I look on my home surveillance cameras, they gave me 17 out of twenty five I call them on the 10/13/2021 left a message and email them also. The morning of the 14 I have never saw a company that lies, still and call me a ******, like ****** I got to make money, and you should have been out there . When I pay for a company to do a job I don't need to stand over them this is what consumers call I trust you, and to short me 8 bales of pine straw is tacky but if they do this to all customers they resales those same bales is fraud, and the state of Ga. Need to band them from doing business in Georgia

      Trust the negative reviews and NOT the owner's responses. I asked them to bring 40-45 bales of pine straw and spread it. They came on time but shorted me at least 10 bales. I was there the whole time AND have multiple cameras that showed the number of bales they put on my property. Only ONE worker kept strings on his shoulder to count. The others tossed the in the truck on top of the ones from previous jobs. I called and sent a video that took me over an hour to make showing every single video clip with the number of bales being obvious and the lack of strings kept by the workers. My camera footage showed EXACTLY what I told them before they left-that they had shorted me 10 or more bales. Even with that evidence they would do nothing! I should not have paid them. I figured that they would make it right. Bad decision. Trust all the negative reviews you see for them! It appears to be the owner of the company that doesn't care. As I said above, they did not keep track of strings from the bales (videos made that clear) and did not set out the proper number of bales. To top it off, a number of the bales were wet and mildewed.

      This customer was explained the policy before rudely hanging up in my face....Customer was advised that we have a 40 bale minimum for his area....This customer knows he needs less than 40 bales and cant find someone to complete his service because of this. This customer in turn called our office knowing minimum coverage was needed. Once the tech covered areas as described, the customer said he felt like he didn't get what he paid for. The customers home took 35 bales to complete and in order to avoid charging the customer a $40 service fee our tech gave the customer 5 more bales in order for him to meet the minimum. We also allow our customers to count the strings if they indicate a desire to do so. The issue with the customer was satisfied by my tech giving him the 5 bales to meet his minimum....Customer in turn paid tech in full with no complaints....The following day the customer said he reviewed cameras and feel he may have been shorted 10 bales. This is not the case, and this is why the option is available for customers to count strings..Trying to count from a video is just not accurate and is definitely not a way we would have agreed to do business.

      Unfortunately, the owner above is not telling the truth. She has never visited my property and has no idea what she is talking about! Below are my responses to her deceitful responses. If you read through them it will give you some idea of why I had to hang up on the owner. She called me in the middle of my work and rudely spouted lie after lie and wouldn't not let me talk at all. I had no desire nor obligation to spend my work time listening to her vent lies and if I tried to speak she raised her voice and tried to talk me down so I ended the conversation. Regarding her lies and misinformation above:
      1) No one ever told me about a 40 bale minimum but why would I need it when I requested 45??? (i have the receipt!!!) She makes no sense.
      2) Is she a mind reader? If so, she can't read. She says "This customer knows he needs less than 40 bales and can't find someone to complete his service because of this." Sadly, she is lying again. I've had many more bales installed on my property before but I had been doing it myself recently (straw usually from boy scouts, who, unlike this company, can count bales correctly). She never talked to me. In 20 years of buying pine straw annually her company is the first one who shorted me. She has no knowledge of what I had done previously nor why I chose to try her company. I simply requested via phone to her office manager (who seems nice) that 45 bales be delivered and installed to my property. I got 35 at the most and made the mistake of paying for 45 assuming that when I followed up with them they would make it right.
      3) There was never an agreement to 'cover' a certain area. I ordered 45 bales installed-period. Another lie. There was plenty of area to still cover and some areas they put straw in only had straw in the front few inches so it looked from a side view like they had put straw where I asked them but they did not cover all the areas.
      4) More lies-They did not give me 5 more bales to avoid a $40 service fee. A service fee was never discussed, disclosed, or attempted to be charged. I was handed a bill for 40bales and I asked for 5 more bales because the worker told me he put down 40 and I told him I had wanted 45. He told me that it was 5PM and they were going to leave so he would just give them to me to spread. The time frame give to me for them to come was 4-6PM so not sure why 5PMish was the magic stop time...
      5) They did not allow me to count strings. Only Chris had strings collected on his body and counted them at the end. Chris asked the other two guys how many they laid down and they, came up with numbers (videocameras do not lie-just the owner) with no string counting. There were strings all over the place in their truck when they first arrived, presumably from previous jobs that day. Counting all strings did not happen and I was not offered the opportunity before they tossed them in the truck as they came back each time to get a few more bales.
      6) Another lie-I paid but told the worker I did not agree with the number of bales laid down (specifically that, for example, only 25 were taken to my back yard) and that is when he went to the other two guys to ask them how many they spread. After that, I told him I had video cameras so would check those to make sure I didn't miss anything (not that I thought I did).
      FINAL THOUGHT-I understand owner would not want to do business using videocameras to help count. Why? For the same reason a dishonest person would not like videocameras filming them when they were doing something dishonest. I approached their business in a reasonable way when I was fully convinced I was shorted and tried to assume that some of the workers just double counted bales (for example, sometimes one worker brought them back, another spread-double counting like that would give a bigger number than reality). However, after my interactions with the owner despite testifying that I was there the entire time counting the bales AND checked my cameras carefully twice (matched my personal numbers) AND spending over an hour making her a video showing that I was including every relevant clip AND that they were not keeping their strings for counting, she didn't even make an effort to talk to me about it UNTIL I posted my review above and then she called to be all nasty and mean and spouting delusional fact-less statements. I feel sad for anyone who has to work with this person.

      We have no rceason to short you. We were calling to settle the issue. I will refund $50 to you to satisfy this issue... we have happy customers. I don't know what went wrong at your home. I was calling you to solve the issue over the phone but you hung up on me and started yelling when I was explain to you what my policy was. I can only assume that a tech is going by the policy as taught.... If I didn't understand you clearly, I apologize. But to think that we get buy cheating people out of 10 bales is not at all the truth... I wanted you to understand our procedures as well. We have been in business for 15 years and we have over 5,000 happy customers. Please let me know if this will make you happy also.

      The owner has an odd way of calling to settle something. As soon as I picked up the phone she started on a rant about how I ordered ~28 bales etc etc which was not true at all. She asked no questions, would not let me speak (I tried but she tried to shout me down so I hung up). I would suggest that she consider calling and asking questions, not upset and accusatory. I called her business multiple times and she never called me until I wrote a review. You should not assume your tech is going by your policy. You should ask questions to find out, not accuse me of things like you did on the phone and in your first response to my review. There are multiple reviews online claiming that your company shorted them bales. I am not alone. Perhaps you should look into what is happening with the bales that don't end up in our yards if it really not your policy. BTW, how do you know you have 5000 happy customers? I didn't see that online. I instead see comments about being shorted and the difficulty of interacting with the owner. Would you have assumed I was a happy customer if I had not taken the time to write a review? I will accept your apology but I urge you to change the way you interact with people. However, I was shorted $60 worth of bales. You have my address. Why haven't I received a check? At this point, yes, I'd like to have my $ for missing bales but I've also spent a lot of time I should not have had to spend on this. I spent over an hour to make a video in good faith showing you that your workers did not spread the bales they said they did AND that they did not keep their strings with them (except for Chris). I called your company multiple times, spent time on these reviews and had to endure you ranting over the phone. I took many pictures that I don't see how to post here but they clearly show your workers put some pine straw in front of some areas (my blueberries for example) for about six inches but put zero straw around the blueberries plants themselves like they were supposed to (~2feet more with no straw after the the 6 inches in front). I should not have had to do any of that. You should have come out yourself to look when I called about this issue.

      Just wanted to enter a note to say that I've received no check as of 10/28/21 so it appears the owners "offer" of $50 to try to make restitution was not sincere.
