I hired Dupree plumbing to do my house and then we found a big issue after moved in and I told them about it and they found there is sewer ***** under the house slab. I contact them and they send someone to change my toilet from regular toilet to power flush to see if its going to solve the problem but it didnt solve. The supervisor told me that they have to burst the concrete inside the house to fix it and they putting it off and they never show up to fix the issue and its been a while now and last time when I contacted them they told me that they closed the new construction department and they dont know. The supervisor told me that they close their door suddenly and he dont know what to do for me. My toiled back up all the time and flood my toilet floor every time we flush it. The supervisor name ******************* I sent an email to the lady (*************************) after they close the new construction department and she told me send me details and then I ask her for updates and she ignored me.

The underground plumbing was installed properly and to code, inspected, and passed inspection by the local municipality. Unfortunately, work installed by other trades can be damaged throughout  the construction process. We do not feel that this is a result of improper installation and therefore are not responsible for the repair. Installing power flush toilets is more than enough to show good faith by Dupree Plumbing in trying to assist with this issue. Dupree Plumbing will gladly repair the issue at a fair price for the work that needs to be done if the customer wishes to proceed.

I am rejecting this response because:

looks like you dont know anything about the issue because the sewer belly is under the house slab, not outside the house, no one touch the sewer pipe after your guys cover it up. Lets say like you said there is  another trade caused the belly, why only a part of the pipe has a belly and the other part not.

the county inspection does not check the sewer pipe slope during construction they only ask for fill the pipe with water and check the end of it.

Cherokee county does not require a gravel under the slab, so we didnt put gravel or run any heavy equipment over the pipe.We put the plastic and poured concrete right away. And I have a video for that. But you should install your pipe with properly bedding and cover it up correctly.

Also by code the plumber is responsible to bedding very well around the sewer pipe to make sure its not sunken in or there is  no any big rock around the pipe.
there is no any trade work touch the sewer pipe, we poured the concrete slab right after you finished your work.
I attached a screen shot for conversation between me and ***** to confirm the issue and the repairing solution and he told me that Dupree plumbing will fix the issue properly but looks like you put it off till the one year warranty pass to say that. And surprised me about your bankruptcy and run away from your responsibility.
please call ******************* to ask him and I am sure he wont lie.
I have a recorded phon call with him to admit the mistake.
Last question: Why you installed power flush toilet instead of regular toilet if you feel like is not your mistake and its another trade mistake and you sent a guy every month to change the wax ring because the bathroom got flooded from the sewer backed up?
Also why you didnt say that from day one and just say it now after you filed bankruptcy? Looks like you were planing for that

      Sincerely,

      *************************

We do not feel that this is a result of improper installation and therefore are not responsible for the repair. It is not an uncommon occurrence during the construction process. We do everything on our end to ensure that does not happen. The plumbing was installed to code, inspected an approved.

As for the toilets, installing power flush toilets was a way to try to help a customer, and show good faith by ********************** to try to help. It is not taking responsibility for the issue for improper installation. Again Dupree Plumbing will gladly repair the issue at a fair price for the work that needs to be done if the customer wishes to proceed.

We bought this property at the end of March 2021. We started having issues with sewer water backing up into our basement bathroom which flooded our carpet in the rooms and garage adjacent to the bathroom on Jun 9, 2022. We thought it was a clogged toilet so we bought supplies to clear the clog which seemed to help until June 12 when we had another flood with sewer water. Again we attempted to unclogged the lines, but this only provided temporary benefit. We scheduled an appt for Dupree Plumbing, whom was responsible for the plumbing of this property as new construction, and they came and inspected the property on June 15, 2022. We were advised there was a "belly in the line" leading out from the house, but they refused to fix it and demanded we pay almost ******* before they would leave the property. The builder of the property was notified and said they would start to work on the issue. The builder advised us that Dupree Plumbing refused to take any responsibility to correct the error so a different plumber was brought in today and it has been revealed that there was not a belly in the line, but a crack in the pipe under our foundation. Dupree Plumbing did not stand behind their work or warranty on a new construction home. Dupree Plumbing did not diagnose the issue correctly. This failure allowed for more flooding to happen in our finished basement causing further damage. I should not be financially responsible for their service and their business practices should be evaluated. I have disputed the charge to my credit card company, but the charges should be reversed from Dupree due to their negligence

On 6/15/2022, the customer signed an invoice stating that he had an issue with the sewer line and it would fail again.

On 6/28/2022, the customer spoke with Office Manager ************************* and was issued a full refund.  ****** can be reached at ************ or ************.

      Thank you
