Dupree plumbing (*****) came to our home on 8/8/23 to address a leak in the basement ceiling. They determined the kitchen sink was clogged and thus leaking. They stated that our kitchen sink was not up to code, and we needed all new plumbing as well as a pump. In addition, they destroyed a significant portion of our basement ceiling dry wall chasing down other problems that didn't exist nor were they asked to investigate. They stated that we needed to replace this piping as well. They also looked down the basement toilet and said the pipe was clogged under the foundation and we needed to tear up the flooring and replace the piping. Once again we had no problems with this either. They quoted us $34,000 for all the repairs which didn't even address the significant damage they had caused. We wisely obtained 5 additional quotes and found out that the ceiling pipe and pipe under the foundation were fine and did not need to be replaced. In addition, they all said that a pump was not needed and would lead to more problems. We had the kitchen piping replumbed (which was up to code but clogged) for $1500. This company was either incompetent or trying to rip us off. The manager came to our house and basically said nothing they could do even though he agreed that the damage ***** did was not entirely his fault and not warranted. This company should not be allowed to continue services to customers in the Atlanta area.

Be aware Dupree plumbing is stiffing their employees and subcontractors. Its not 1 or 2 people. Its at least 5 different crews of subcontractors as well as employees. Its not just a few thousand dollars either. its is quite a bit of money. Do not trust them. To the Dupree family, If you are reading this Please pay us our money. The money we worked for. We have never been late to jobs we always do a complete job and have broke our backs at times to make sure you met deadlines with builders. How you repay for our loyalty, dedication, and hard work is by not paying us the thousands of dollars YOU OWE US. By not answering phone calls or emails and LYING!!!! Be honest with us. We all have family's to feed and care for. we have depleted savings trying to pay our crews with no money coming in for all the work we did for you. FIRST STEP is pay us our money! second if you don't have it be HONEST with why and what's next!Sincerely Angry AND Broke Dupree Subcontractors

Our kitchen garbage disposal was broken and a courteous repair man made a repair rather than replacement. Its rare to see a company and service technician be so considerate for a customers needs. We will use Dupree in the future.

My wife and I have been using Dupree since 1986. Our hot water heater stopped working last night. Late morning Dupree had it fixed and we're up and running again. Dupree continues to provide outstanding customer service and they remain the gold standard in their line of business.
