Review *** ***** Brothers Painters Last mid-November, 2021, we contracted with ***** Brothers Painters (WCP) of ********, ******* to paint the outside of our home. It was a somewhat bittersweet experience because of several ongoing difficulties in working with WCP and their employees.The primary challenges in getting the paint job completed were as follows:Instructions had to be given several times to get the correct trim paints where directed.Two coats of paint on the stucco were quoted. The painters did one coat only. I learned from ****** (owner) that the contract was misquoted, so I said I would pay for the second coat, which was then applied (The estimator was in fact new to the job).Inadequate care was taken to cover the deck at the rear of the home resulting in around a dozen small paint blotches on the deck.It was difficult to communicate with the paint crew since they did not speak English and ****** was not here most of the time. Perhaps the most frustrating part of getting the job done was that communications with ****** were very difficult and he was seldom on the job. We often didnt know if the painters planned to be with us on any given day - some days they were here and some days they were not. At one point, ****** said the paint was unavailable (Covid era), so I called dealers in his area, found the paint and so advised ******, who then said his dealer had the paint. Many times, phone calls were not returned.There were also positive aspects to our work with WCB. Overall, we were pleased with the paint job and the appearance of the house when painting was completed. The cost of the job was better than most quotes from other painters, so we felt we received good value. The rating for the paint job would be 4.0 to 4.5; the rating on other aspects of the job would be a 1 or a 2.Overall rating = 3
