Hello,I booked a swim class with Atlanta Swim Academy *************) on 9/3/2024 (see two attached emails, one is a receipt, the other is the confirmation of my registration). Immediately after that, they called me saying my kid was not eligible for that class. They said I need to change to another class and they already assigned another class to my kid (see the attached email). I said we specifically chose that session because it fits our schedule, and we know that instructor, we don't want to change to another class. I said if you won't allow us to take this session, then please cancel it and refund the money. They said no, they cannot refund me, my only option is to choose another ******* I said other lessons either did not fit our schedule or we don't know the instructors. **** still refused to refund and force the other class on us. The confirmation email, which should be considered a contract, clearly indicated which class we were paying for, they agreed and took the payment. Now, just several minutes later, they cannot honor the "contract", That's fine, then just refund us the money. It is as simple as that. I don't understand why they made it so difficult.Business response

My two year old son had been attending swimming lessons at the Atlanta Swim Academy. On Saturday, May 18th the Atlanta Swim Academy was understaffed with a sufficient amount of well-trained instructors. My son ended up falling in the pool as a result of the lacking staff. I reported the incident May 20th and did not receive a response that rose to the level of expected concern when receiving a complaint around children's' safety. Already being billed for **** lessons, I notified the Atlanta Swim Academy via email May 26th my family would not be returning to the academy out of safety concerns and to refund my card for the unused **** lessons. The customer service contact informed me the *** would not be issuing me a refund as I notified them after the 18th of May for a **** withdrawal. Unfortunately being the incident happened May 20th, I wasn't able to inform them of my son's withdrawal by May 18th. I understand the academy has a policy around regular withdrawals, however, being it wasn't safe to bring my son to their facility any longer I don't see how the policy applies
