I have several complaints about the lack of service at this company. I was quoted a price to rebuild my trucks transmission and replace my torque converter. Once it was brought in the price went up $400. I was told it would take a week to a week and a half to pull it, rebuild it and put it back in. It took a just shy of a month. I did t think to inquire about the warranty. I found out after picking it up that they only give a 30-day warranty whereas most transmission shops give a 3, 5-year or lifetime warranty. at the very least you'd expect a 12-month/12,000 mile warranty that any repair shop generally gives on any repair. after getting my truck back I drove it and felt a hard, slamming shift between gears that I'd never felt before, the original concern was the torque converter had blown. I brought it back in and ***** said, "no that's how it's supposed to feel because its a big truck." right at a month later it loses pulling and starts revving the engine with transfer from the engine to the wheels. I bring it back in and he tells me it has a defective pump I'll have it by Wednesday. On Friday they tell me the valve body didn't fix it. It'll be Wednesday again. On Thursday I come to pick it up and they replaced my valve body, pump and drum so it drives better now. BUT they shifted it into 4-wheel drive and couldn't get it back into 2-wheel high so disconnected my shift linkage and left the parts in my floorboard. Also by carrying it to another shop to have it lifted up and inspected they not only disconnected my linkage, they left off the breather vent tube, the trans pan gasket is leaking and the case wasn't cleaned for a rebuild but was partially spray painted with a shiny silver glitter paint to make it look like the had done a move rebuild. I have no faith that they actually did the rebuild that they diagnosed, recommended and were paid to complete. Majorly inconvenient, mechanically dubious and would not recommend to anyone.
