      I have missed two days coming to Affordable Dentures for partial denture services, and the impressions and wax has not been done correctly. First day appointment at 9:30 on Monday, 07/29/2024, I was seen after 10am, impressions were done. Next day, Tuesday 07/30/2024, I came back and was there from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm. I was told by ********* that in 30 minutes wax would be completed by the person who does the wax, however the 30 minutes turned into almost 1.5 hours of me sitting in the chair cold. Then, when it came back it was crooked with several spaces in between teeth and not a good smile for dentures. I also let them see my partials I already had as a guide. Then the staff came back and said 5 minutes, that turned into 30 more minutes. The dentist tried to fit and realized it needed to be redone and pointed out the issues with the maker of partial dentures. He advised that they had to hand make them without a machine. Then the staff told me to come back after 3:00 PM. So I wasted 2 days off work with no services. I called Affordable Dentures at 8:10 AM informing them that I wanted to cancel the Care Credit Dental account and appointment for today 7/31/2024 because of the services not rendered, poor wax job and time wasted. I said my name to the staff. A rude lady answered the phone fast talking stating We don't just cancel anything, you gotta speak with the manager. She was ******* me and gave poor customer service. I asked who the manager was and I think she said ******* or *******. She said, Shell call you. Then hung up fast. Each time I called back, their phone went to voicemail for 1 hour.The dentist and ********* were professional but the denture maker service from the guy was not good with wax, the long wait for almost 2 hours for wax in the cold room with no updates with appointment and rude customer service when canceling the Care Credit Account was unprofessional.Still not able to reach them at the *************************************

      Good afternoon.

      Patient ************************* was fully refunded the amount of $1770 the day of the BBB Complaint. I, ***************************, Office Manager at Affordable Dentures *********, spoke with **************** the morning of Wednesday, July 31st.  She had called and spoke to my Front Desk Assistant and was requesting a refund.  The front desk assistant told **************** that she does not have the authority to refund the account, so she will leave a message for the Office Manager and will have her call her back to discuss the matter.  Within 30-minutes of **************** being told that the Office Manager will return her call, she continued to call the office every 15 minutes, leaving voice messages stating she wanted a refund and that she was going to contact corporate.  We were not able to answer her calls ASAP.  However, I did return her call within a time-frame that was conducive to my work-load.  Prior to calling ****************** had reviewed the voice messages and the note that was given to me from the Front Desk Assistant.  I went ahead and refunded **************** Care Credit Account because she had made it perfectly clear that she was not happy with the outcome of her wax-try-in appliance (meaning, nothing was fully fabricated for delivery).  She was not allowing the office to complete her case in the allowable time frame. We accommodated her to when she said she could come in, but she then decided that she was going to cancel and come the next day.  The next day was when she requested a full refund.  There is a process of manufacturing dentures.  She had made a personal change of request on her appliance which would cause her to have to return to the office for yet another wax try in.  Wax-try-ins are done so that any dislike from the wax-try-in can be changed.  She stated that the look was crooked and several spaces were between the teeth. The lab tech had to use other teeth to try to make them fit her look.  This is exactly why we do the try-ins to get it right for the patient.   However, she didn't trust the process for allowing us to accommodate her, so therefore, I refunded her.  After I refunded the Care Credit account for $1770, I promptly called **************** and told her that I would be emailing her the receipt with her refund, which I did. 

      Regarding the issue, **************** stated that the Front Desk Assistant that she spoke was rude.  That was not a true statement,  The Front Desk Assistant was talking to **************** in a professional manner because I sit 8 to 10 feet away from her and I heard the Front Desk Assistant on the phone talking to someone, but I didn't know it was ****************.  Not one time did I ever hear any rudeness coming from the Front Desk Assistant.  However, when I spoke with **************** she did began to tell me that the lady she spoke with was rude and I explained to **************** that I was sitting next to her and I did hear any type of rudeness coming from the Front Desk. She then said that the Front Desk was talking fast like she was ******* her off the phone. I indicated that my Front Desk assistant talks fast at times, but never with any malice towards any patient.

      In closing, **************** was refunded because as stated, we do thrive to make every patient happy with there purchase, but with ****************, during the process of making her denture, I think it was more a inconvenience of returning for the appointments due to her job, in which I can fully understand, rather than the quality of work performed.  We thrive to make every patient within this office happy and ensure that they are satisfied with their appliances and our service.  However, apparently, we did not meet he expectations and for that, she had a right for a refund.  Therefore, it was done.

      In June 2021 I had all of my teeth pulled due to illness and paid over $6000 for service and dentures however the dentures never fully fit and I returned plenty times to address the issue. Which caused me to become depressed because the teeth never ended up fitting properly always to big for my mouth. I felt dismissed and less of a customer who fully paid for a service that was not acceptable. The establishment did not care and up to this day this has affected my confidence and caused me to have difficulty speaking.

      Good afternoon.

       

      To my understanding *************************** has never reached back out to this office in regards to concerns about her appliance.  If you look at the ledger, you will see that **************** had (3) Wax try-ins.  This appointment allows the patient and the doctor to view the appliance before fabrication for delivery.  At this appointment if there is anything that the patient or doctor does not like, we will reschedule the patient and make the appropriate changes to accommodate the patient.  **************** had (3) wax try-ins before fabrication.  On the 3rd try-in, the patient (****************)  agreed and was satisfied with the look of the prosthetic so therefore, she was given a CONSENT FORM (See Attached) to sign which states that she approved of the size, color, arrangement and amount of lip support given.  Her signature also indicates that she gives consent for Affordable Dentures to complete (Process) the denture for delivery.  The last statement in the Wax Try-In  consent form states; Should I (meaning ****************) desire for the appearance of the denture(s) to be altered in any way AFTER COMPLETION, I (****************) understands that additional charges will apply.

      As I stated, **************** has not reached out to this office in regards to any issues since her last appointment which was July 22, 2022 to whereas on that day (See Attachment-Clinical Note), ****************** was satisfied with her adjustment of her upper denture, which she paid $55 for,  and was told to return to the office "AS NEEDED" from the Dental Assistant. 

      Also, the doctor that ******************** care was done under was *********************  ******************* is no longer here at this ********************************** is more than welcomed to call the office to make an appointment with **************** ******* ******************************** for consultation.  This will allow us to address any issues that she feels that she have.  She must keep in mind that it is coming up to almost a year and we have not heard from her.  Per myself as Office Manager and ****************, we will be willing to have a conversation with **************** to see what the issue is.

      I paid $3500 for dental care from December 2018 until February, 2022. Affordable Dentures ghosted me from February 2020 until February 2022. I sent numerous emails and made numerous calls to get an appointment. They had already taken my money. They blocked my number some way and when I called from a different number I got thru. They never answered any of my emails! On November *********************************************************************************************************************************************** my mouth! That did not fit. I could not eat anything solid. I requested my medical records and was denied my medical records from this Affordable Dentures. I could not resolve this because they sent me a threatening letter telling me I cannot come to their office. They did this after taking my money and offering me no refunds. They took my money and did not give me what I paid for. They falsified documents to cover up what they did to me and they tell lies. I just want my money back. The product do not fit its defective! I paid for new wearer package service that was not delivered to me because they dismissed me from their offices! I need my money back! I cannot afford to give someone thousands of dollars! Please help me recover my money. The product they provided did not fit my mouth. It caused unbearable pain and burn my mouth and left sores. The service for new wearer that was supposed to cover unlimited adjustments. This was denied when they sent me a dismissal letter November 2022.

      Be informed that **************** did not email the practice location and practice records to not indicate the calls made that **************** refers to.   At no time was **************** ever telephonically blocked.  

      Regarding refund, **************** was offered to refund $1305 to her CareCredit account in November 2022, and she refused this amount and decided to keep the dentures that she complained about.   Her dental records were provided..

      I was offered no refunds! On November 8th 2023 these people dismissed me from their office knowing what they have done! They charged me for services they never filled! Example, I paid for a new denture wearer package and was given no service for this! I was never offered any refunds for anything from this office! And when I requested my medical records they gave me an incomplete record. These people are very dishonest and they did not provide me with a usable product. Matter fact I had to go to another Dentist who helped me. If they offered me a Refund where is the money at? They offer me nothing but a dismissal letter and threats to not to return to their office. All I want is my money back because they did not give me the services I paid for and they gave me a defective product that is unusable.  I want my money back. Go read the ****** reviews and see how dishonest they are! They put up fake reviews to cover up all the negative reviews this business have gotten from many people who they ripped off. I paid for a service I did not receive from this Doctor. Show the doctors notes where the doctors did any adjustments to the product. They did none! They took my money and then threatened me to never come back to their office! This  office in ********* is nothing but scammers. Taking people money and not giving people the services they make you pay for in advance! I need my money back.

Here I am a year later with no Dentures. I went in for the last fitting I believe August or September. I have been calling leaving messages no answer or return calls. I need my Dentures ASAP and they are telling me I cant get them until next year. Ive paid in full every ***** and getting the run around. I need help. Please!

      NOTE 1: Returned patient called she left a voicemail (12/12/2022)-next business day to schedule her for her upper cast metal to be delivered, explained to the patient the soonest I had avail was for Monday December the 19, patient said no she wanted December 22nd but office will be closed patient was upset and started to yelled on the phone stating that she needs to be seen before and that she will be placing a complaint because she has been calling and we don't ever answer her calls, i explained to her due to short of staff and schedule changing we are not able to accommodate her before the 19 of December patient hanged up the phone- RC

      ******************** was very rude to my front desk because she insisted that we get in her when it was convenient for her but our schedule did not permit.  She was offered the 19th of December and told my front desk that we should be accommodating to her.  It does not work like that. We thrive to appease each and every patient.  If our schedule does not allow us to do so, we give them other options, and ******************** was not interested in any other option.

      I was told by my front desk that on the same day that the patient was rude, she did call back and decided to take the appointment on the 19th.  

      In my opinion, the patient really didn't have to take it to this level. However, our office has accommodated her with a appointment apparently after she filed this complaint.

      I purchased upper and lower partials to make my smile better. The consultation and staff was good until I received my partials. When I received them the top one had the metal clasp right in my smile. I didn't like that and ask that it be fixed. The Dr. agreed that it didn't look good and asked me what I wanted to do. I asked for it to be fixed but the only option I was given was to cut it off. Once it was cut off it made the partial loose as well as having a small gap which looks bad. The Dr told me to try it out for a few days and if I didn't like it or the fit was off come back and get it readjusted. Fast forward....I called and scheduled the appointment for the readjustment and was given a date a few weeks later. When I went back for the readjustment I showed the Dr how loose it was he said he'd see what the tech recommends. After consulting the tech the Dr sends a staff member back in to tell me the only thing I could do is purchase another partial. Now I'm out of ******* because I can't wear them.

      I, ***************************, Office Manager at Affordable Dentures & Implants, ********* **, spoke with one ********************************, on Friday November 4, 2022.  I explained to ****************** that I want to get her into the office to be seen by our new Permanent Doctor within this practice.  The previous experience that ****************** was dealing with is not what we represent.  She was seen by temporary doctors that were filling in until a permanent Doctor was available.

      I spoke with the practice new Dentist and we want to and will make thing right for *******************  She was out of town when I spoke with her and I instructed her to please call the office and ask for me specifically and I will schedule her for a consultation with the permanent Dentist and myself to resolve the issue that she is having related to her partial.

      August 2021 . I had the most painful extractions of my life. ********************************************* was the most uncaring, No empathy. Shots had not numbed before he started the procedure, He talked about himself to his assistant over me. No regards for my well being. No matter that I told both of them, a lot of pain was going on down here. They both told me the procedure was all most over. I informed Dr. * ******* I needed more numbing to proceed, He let out a sigh and turned, picked up one of the shots on tray. looked at it , started flicking his finger at the shot as though it was empty. He informed his assistant, not me, we had enough to finish the procedure. The injection did nothing else to relieve my agony. He went on. The last two teeth were the worst, broke one under gum line. broke top of molar on second. he was pulling to hard and to fast. He had to use a hammer & pick to remove both. When he was done, without a word. he just left the room. I was in shock. I was weak. I felt violated. in pain. bleeding. no stitches. immediate denture put in my mouth and was told I could go. No follow-up, no bath or supplies for my new wearers package. I could not talk, was told they would call to set up next appointment as they were closing and I needed to exit the building. May 2022, Try ins for my premium set of dentures, The wax try in was very bulky, the teeth were big very unnatural looking. was told that this was normal that finish dentures would be 100% different. Was giving a sheet to sign that I thought was for the shade of teeth I would have in my per, denture. I was assured again that the dentures would be 100% different than the wax try ins. this happened when I signing my name, listening to the tech, the print was so small I did not read what I was signing. later I learned why, I was being distracted. *ery deceptive sales tactic. In conclusion, the product was horrible.the gums were red, too thick, the teeth too big & crooked ...... ***** YOUR GUARANTEE ! ****************.

      Had dental implants done and was going back for my last appointment. At this appointment I was told they were going to do a realignment. I did not want that done as the ones I had felt fine. So the dentist said we should go ahead and do it. When I came back that afternoon my dentures were off bad and the dentist even got angry with the assistants. So I was sent away and told I could come back tomorrow to do the same job over. I had already taken off work the day of and wasnt sure if I could take the next day off. I called the following morning and said that I could come in as work let me off. Proceeded to go to the visit and the job was messed up again. I was sent home with teeth that did not fit, caused my gum line to be rubbed as well as roof of my mouth. Was told to come back in a week. Well that week later was today and yet again the job was not right. I was told I had to leave bc I was complaining about the job that was not done and I asked could I just get my money back because yet again the job was not done correctly and I was not satisfied. I was told maybe you should do the permanent implants. Why because if they cant do regular dentures right after three visits in a week what makes me feel comfortable with that job. I wanted to visit the dentures office closer to my home (same business) and was told that I couldnt do it. So now I feel Ive wasted thousands of dollars to have a halfway job done. I would never even think of sending a paying customer home and treat it as if it was there fault and oh yeah to fix it why dont you come back and do permanent which are thousands per each tooth.

      The Patient, ***************************, purchased a Full **************", which is the lowest grade denture.  With the economy denture, the patient does not get any "Try-In's" prior to delivery.  The patient is fully instructed on the outcome of Economy dentures.  However, in the case with ******************, the doctor allowed free try-ins.  She had (4) try-ins.  On the last try-in, the patient signed  the Wax-Try-In Consent, which stated:  "The try-in is set in wax has just been completed.  I have had adequate time to evaluate the denture(s) set in wax for my viewing, and I approve of the size, color, arrangement and amount of lip support given.  I consent for the denture(s) to be completed.  Should I desire for the appearance of the denture(s) to be altered in any way after completion, I understand that additional charges will apply.  Patient signed and dated this consent on March 24, 2022.

      On last office visit (day of delivery) clinical notes stated that the patient was satisfied with the adjustment that was made to her denture.  She also said that they look good and that the dentures are now fine.  

      PATIENT WENT ON TO ASKING STAFF IF SHE'S GOING TO GET A RELINE BECAUSE AT THIS POINT THEY ARE LOOSE. THE DR WAS NOTIFIED OF THIS AND HAS DECIDED THAT A RELINE IS NOT POSSIBLE, PATIENT WENT ON TO ASK IF SHE CAN BE REFUNDED AND AGAIN THIS WAS DECLINED DUE TO THE LENGTH OF TIME HAS BEEN SPENT REMAKING THIS APPLIANCE. IT WAS ALSO NOTED TO PATIENT THAT THIS IS AN ECONOMY AND SHE WAS AWARE THAT THESE ARE THE ISSUES THAT COMES ALONG WITH AN ECONOMY DENTURE.PATIENT WAS ALSO EXPLAINED THAT SHE HAD MULTIPLE WAX TRYING WHICH WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE WITH THE EONOMY DENTURE AND STILL AT THIS POINT SHE'S STILL NOT SATISFIED. PATIENT WENT ON CURSING AT THE DOCTOR AND STORMED OUT OF THE OFFICE.

      An appointment was scheduled by Affordable Dentures to receive dentures on 2/4/2022 at 2pm. Upon arrival at the office there was a sign on the door which stated call the 800 number. The 800 number rolls back to the office which is not being answered. No-one from the office called nor emailed to advised of the office closing or to reschedule the appointment. I have left messages for someone to contact me daily (since 2/4/2022). No one has attempted to make contact. It is now 2/11/2022. I paid for the product in full. The total cost was $1850.00. I have not received the a phone call, nor email, nor a refund, nor the purchased dentures. The office is still not answering the phone. I have contacted the cooperate office and has not received a return message or resolution. I want a full refund. The company is unprofessional.
