On 2/23/2022 I purchased a 2014 Peterbilt tractor/Semi truck from Truck and Trailer Connection **** after waiting almost 4 weeks from the truck to be serviced and repairs to be done especially the engine light that came in the beginning when I was shopping for the truck. The sales rep ***** told me that he would make sure that the issues with the engine light will be repaired and that they were going to make sure that the truck was fixed before they finalize the sale. After speaking with ***** that day and based off of what he said, I felt confident that I would be purchasing a good truck so I went ahead and strayed the finance process and left a $500 deposit to hold the truck. After going through the process and putting $12,000 down and rest was financed only to get the truck in 2/23/22 and 2 hours after my driver drive off the lot the engine light came on & truck running hot. My driver came from NC to pick up the truck and drive it back to get checked out, stickers etc, but 2 hours after leaving the dealership the engine light came on. I contacted ***** and he asked that I have the driver take it to a mechanic in ** because my driver was coming through ********** ** at the time. I didnt feel comfortable taking to anyone but the Peterbilt mechanic so I scheduled an appointment with them. I did have another diesel mechanic inspect the truck to find that the truck was not serviced, the fluids were not changed and were low. There were metal particles in the transmission reservoir, the oil was never changed and was thick and black, the filters were old and murky. I texted ***** about this and he said he told me that he never serviced the truck which was a lie. I would never have purchased a truck that was not serviced. I also wonder how the truck passed DOT inspection if the fluids levels were so low. ***** said he had the truck inspected before I purchased. I told ***** that I was taking to Peterbilt and asked if they could take care of **** for truck running hot
