      Purchased a vehicle from this business on **********. Completed the purchase and everything went well. Upon leaving the business, the price which was listed across the windshield was removed. There was a huge crack in the windshield which had been hidden, behind the price of the vehicle. Immediately went back to salesman, Neal********** and told him this crack was hidden and the crack had not been disclosed. Salesman said he would take care of the crack. In the many attempts to resolve this issue, we only get a different excuse each time. First excuse was he has to get together with the owner, second excuse was there had been a death in the owner's family, third excuse was the owner has Covid, and fourth excuse was the owner still has Covid. We have come to the conclusion that this business is just stringing us along. To hide this crack was deceptive/fraudulent. This crack should have been disclosed before purchasing and I would have had the choice to purchase or not purchase. Hopefully you can help resolve this issue.

      Business Response /* (1000, 18, 2022/03/23) */ I had told Mr. ****** that I would talk to the owner about the cracked windshield not that I would take care of it. After talking with the owner, he said that we discounted the car $1600 and that there wasn't enough profit for him to fix the windshield after the discount. We are having problems with the windshields here on ******* with debris from the big trucks hitting our cars. The crack was not intentionally hidden. If we had known that the windshield was cracked it would have been disclosed. What Mr. ****** said about the owner being out of town, then a death in the family, and him contracting covid was all true. We definitely weren't delaying or stringing Mr. ****** along. It was just unforeseen circumstances. Consumer Response /* (3000, 20, 2022/03/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Saying he would talk to the owner to decide if they would replace the windshield is a lie. His exact response was "we'll take care of it". And the price of the car was discounted before the hidden crack was discovered. We will proceed with legal action against this company.
