On January 28, 2023, I had verbal agreement from this establishment to purchase prepaid swimming lessons. Under this verbal agreement I asked for open date for these lessons to be pursued. This was granted by *************************** (I'm told she is no longer an employee). ***** advised me that permission was granted from her manager to effect this agreement, and I could use this credit at any time, which is what I specifically asked to have done. The lessons were paid by a prepaid card which was going to expire prior to January 28, 2023. Walton Athletic Fitness received $500 for these lessons. The agreement was made because It was my intent to move to the area in June of 2023. This, however, did not work out as planned and I instead moved to *****, ******* two hours away from Monroe. I contacted the manager on August 25 and again on August 31, 2023, both times wanting to see if I would get this credit transferred to a center close to my location or a refund. He advised me he cannot offer refund since so much time have passed and they don't have a location close to my location. He also advised that I can transfer the credit to someone else. I don't have anyone to transfer this to at the moment.I am therefore seeking the help of BBB to effect a refund so I can use the credit close to home. I'm also willing to compensate Walton Athletic Fitness with an agreeable administrative fee for any inconvenience.***************************** October 10, 2023
