      A carport with at least an 8 foot tall garage was supposed to be installed on my property and they lowered my garage door to 6 and a half foot. The installers showed up around 6 pm during the time year it gets dark shortly after 6pm. I asked them to leave upon arrival and they said they would just be there to lay down the footing and come back later. I asked them to leave every 30 minutes and they kept saying they were almost done. I felt bullied and concerned by there ignoring me and not leaving as a result of them eventually leaving my property at 330 AM during the week. I called the dealer to have someone out to look at it for complaints and issues and no one came out. I periodically called and emailed thereafter with no luck and now I’m resulting to possible next steps to rectify the issues.

      I purchased an 18x20' metal sided shed from GA Southern Steel, it was delivered on ** ***** 2023 as expected, the installers took a little longer than expected and had me come out in the dark to check that the work had been complete (seemed fine with a flashlight). The next day I got home after work I went to begin putting stuff inside and immediately noticed two dents in the brand new garage door. I began walking around to look for other issues and found some scratched and damaged spots here and there along with over 100 leftover sheet metal screws and metal clippings all over my yard (I have three little kids who play outside). I took pictures of the damages and sent them to the company. I was contacted and told that it would be looked into, time passed and nobody was helping me then we got a big rain and the next day I went out and found water all inside on the siding from around the windows. I called told them, they sent someone unannounced about a month later who ran a bead of silicon over the top of the window and metal of one window and went to leave and I asked if they could do the other to prevent leaks. Well it kept leaking and nobody was helping nor working the damages. I was working with Cathy, she would discuss the damages with the boss, then he was "sick" and a week or so went by then she passed it off to someone else who called and had no clue what the issues were. Cathy took back over, promised me answers over and over and over and even a reimbursement check of $200 (I didn't agree) then told them I wouldn't take less than $500 after all this time and headache going back and forth. Nobody came to fix the leaks so I caulked everything myself and it has been leak free since. I was also told that two Friday's ago someone would come look at the damaged door (despite them having all the pictures I sent) to assess it and nobody showed up then nor have they contacted me back even after sending two more emails since the no-show, 4 months and no resolution!

      Garage was just built in early 2022 and appeared beautiful and was rated for 175mph winds. Winds were just under 70mph when everything started to fall apart. The company put in writing that they were working to resolve the issues but later said it was "act of God" and shut down communication with me. I have pictures of when first damage started and emails of communication in which they led me to believe they were working on getting it repaired. I even offered to go to their location to discuss. Their website states that it is ready for whatever nature throws at you.

      We paid a down payment on the building on May ** 2021. The building 12,016.30 the company came XX-X-XXXX to put the building up. After the first rain the building was leaking so we call the building people about the leak. Did not come unitl 2022 to fix the leak. But they did not completely fix the leak it is still leaking. We have called them every week for a year. They will not answer or return our calls most of the time, are they say someone will come sometime during that week but no one shows up. All we want is the leak to be fixed. This has been going on for a year now trying to get them to fix the problem.

      On ********** I placed a deposit in the amount of $2796.13 on a custom steel building at ********** ***** located at******* ******* *** ******** ******* XXXXX. They act as the sales team for GA Southern Steel Buildings, Inc. I paid to have one door installed that they provided and one framed out so I could put what I wanted in that space. I also paid to have two 10/10-size garage doors framed out along with 6 windows. On April ******* the installer and his crew arrived at my home to install the steel building. Upon completion, I asked installer (Christian-*** as marked on the paperwork) the correct measurements of the frame out. He responded with a standard 36/80. I did not measure to check but trusted his word. I paid the balance of $11,023.81. I then purchased a pre-framed door and paid to have that installed only to be told that it was not the correct size. On *** *** 2022. I went directly to the sales office and asked about the repair and possibly adding their garage doors as I was having little luck getting regular doors easily. The sale guy, Steve, called the office and asked and he was told they could do it all together. I paid the deposit on **** ** 2022 in the amount of $338.25. Different installers arrived on **** ** 2022 and installed the two rolled garage doors (paying them $2085.88) but they refused to repair the doorframe stating that they did not carry the correct tools on their truck. I immediately called the corporate office and they stated the same and said they would need to contact the original installer, as they were independent and worked on commission. They are responsible for repairs. I have made more then a dozen attempts to schedule this repair and kept getting different responses and no resolution. They have made no efforts to repair their mistake.

      I had a garage installed on my property in April of this year 2022. The company sent a team of workers to erect the garage. In the process the forklift that was being used broke my driveway in two places and left a long crack in my driveway. I notified the owner the same day while the workers was still erecting the garage. I sent pictures and the owner assured me with a letter that I have in my possession the damaged driveway would be repaired. After several weeks of calling and texts my calls go unanswered and my texts go with no response.

      I Bought a steel building from Ga Southern Steel Buildings. It will not pass building inspection from the city. I have over 85 documented phone calls and emails to the company. They will not return my phone calls

      Purchased a carport on July *** 2021 from a dealer in ******************************************************** who uses GA Southern Steel Buildings as their manufacturer. We have contacted the manufacturer numerous times since September 2021 to receive a scheduled date of install. Every call was frustrating as the customer service associates claimed that the owner's wife had to review and approve scheduling and she was the only one with the answer, and when asked to speak directly to her, I was denied. Finally the first week of December 2021 I was able to receive a delivery and install date of December***,2021. I reminded the company that the place of delivery/install has strict POA rules and all contractors and their workers must each have a valid form of identification to enter the gate to complete the work. I was told that they understood and no problem, Installers showed up on December**** 2021 with undocumented workers. I called immediately and spoke to the office manager Cathy and she said there was a mix up and guaranteed that they would reschedule for December *** 2021 and that all workers would have valid identification. December *** 2021 came and the installers were to arrive by 8:00 am. five an half hours later approximately 1:30 pm they arrived and two out of the four installers did not have ID. We asked if they could install and deliver with the two guys that have identification and they said no, they had to have at least three guys. So they turned around and did not deliver or install. We then paid a visit to the dealer we contacted with and gave a deposit to. What we do know is the dealer can only help so far since scheduling, delivery and install is with the manufacturer. I just want the carport that we ordered in July of 2021 to be delivered and installed ASAP. I can't continue to take off of work and miss pay to meet this company. They agreed and said they could do this job PLEASE just do what you said you would do.

Covid and being closed is not an excepable explanation but an excuse. The issue is with your company not sending installers with legal identification. And then the second issue is no follow through from you company to get in touch with us the customer. I should not have to continously call and fight for answers. This is so far from the truth....How unethical is this company...NO they did not deliver and install anything for us. Infact for over a month I continuously has to call and fight with Ga Southern Steel and the dealer in ******* for a resolution. NO resolution came from this company. I had to take legal actions to retrieve my deposit made on this carport. Buyer beware of using this company.
