Per similar reviews, my car was at aamco for an extended amount of time. When I got it back it wasn't repaired and had more issues. The owner **** refunded my money $5057.54. once I left, he reversed the refund and never notified me. I'm requesting for a full refund as my car has not been fixed and is not safe to drive.

In July of 2021 I brought my vehicle to ***** at ******************************************************* to get a diagnosis as to why my vehicle wouldn't shift to 3rd gear without me letting off the gas. There were no check engine lights. I advised the manager who's name was ************************* that I still could drive it as is but I didn't want to risk breaking down. After leaving the vehicle, I did speak with **** again and he stated that after a test drive he was able to conclude that my vehicle transmission was the reason for my 3rd gear problem and the only way to resolve was to either have my transmission rebuilt or replaced with a remanufactured Ammco transmission. I chose to have the transmission replacement due to it coming with a 3 year warranty. So the work was performed and on 7/21/2021 I picked up my vehicle and payed an amount due of $3200 in full. While driving my vehicle for the first time after repairs I immediately new that it still wasn't shifting right so I called **** to advise him of my concern but I was told that the new transmission goes through a relearn stage and to keep driving it. Well I don't drive the vehicle alot so it took maybe around 2 weeks for me to drive a total of about 50 miles before I broke down in traffic due to the transmission completely giving out. I immediately called **** from Ammco and informed him what happened and he informed me that I had to pay to get it back to there shop so they could check it out. He later informed me that they would have to replace the transmission a second time. About 7 months time have past and I've been givin my vehicle back 3 times and I've broken down twice and it drives worse and I still have the same issue with slipping in 3rd gear. They cannot resolve my issue and now I'm being told that my problem isn't the transmission it's something else electrical related but I was told from the beginning that it was my transmission so I told them that this is a mis diagnosis.

July 26th, 2021 my truck broke down. I had my vehicle towed to the AAMCO in *********************. The shop manager *************************** assured me my truck would be taken car if and fixed properly. On September 21, 2021 I returned to Georgia to pick up my truck from the AAMCO location. My vehicle was filthy with grease and oil stains ,as well as, mold growing in my carpet. I drove the truck till October when the exact same breakdown occurred. I then had the truck towed to the AAMCO location in *********, *********. The shop manager informed me there was a misdiagnosis in Georgia and the truck would need a single piece drive shaft. The issue I'm having is that the Newnan, Georgia location will not honor the warranty and is refusing to replace the drive shaft. It is now November 20, 2021 and there has been no resolution.

I took my vehicle in for transmission repair, I spoke with **** I informed him that I had a warranty I was told that it was the worse warranty to deal with, and most likely due to that my the vehicle would be there 6 weeks. two weeks go by I had not heard anything so I called **** informed me that it was the transmission I asked him to please move forward with the warranty company and that I would call them as well to try to expedite things along. I called the warranty company the next day and they said they had not received anything from Aamco. So I called and spoke with **** he insisted that every time the adjuster called he would hang up when he answered this was ****** claim for several days. So one day I called the adjuster he verified that every time he called the line would suddenly disconnect after several rings. Finally, there was a connection because I spoke with the adjuster and he told me what needed to place. Several days go by I called **** at Aamco to ask had he taken the car down. He said no he was waiting for my authorization, but he never called me to get my authorization! I said you have my authorization please move forward. The next week I call he said he had not taken the car down it would be some time the next week. I called the following week I was then informed there were seven cars ahead of me. I asked why he did not tell me there were seven cars ahead of me when I brought the car because I would have gone elsewhere. **** then said it should be taken down next week. next week comes not yet the next week. Eventually, the transmission is down now the adjuster has to come out, they came with 48 hours did their assessment and 24 hours later called and said they would pay for the transmission but not the electrical. I feel **** misinformed me about the electrical. the car had a window left down and the seats got mold and mildew. the car was there too long8 weeks! I incurred added expenses for electrical $2,000 and detailing due to mold $200.00.
