Date of Transaction: Date of payment Feb 18, 2022 Amount of Money Paid: $4,187.13 What the business committed to provide you: Kitchen Cabinet and installation.Nature of **************** not fulfilled. Product not delivered; Business is refusing to fulfill the commitment neither refunding money.Business is refusing to provide the service.I ordered kitchen cabinets from Cabinet & Stone City *******. I sat with Lin **** the representative who designed cabinets for me. I paid full invoice upfront, in advance on February 18, 2022, and the charge included cabinets and installation. On April 20, Cabinet & Stone City sent an installer with some boards. Installer tried to install. ********** called me to inform me that the installer is unsure he can install island cabinets on the tile floor. Tao indicated he would send a different installer but that will be the following week. I indicated it will be fine. But Tao asked installer *********************** to install using a concrete nail with a powder actuated tool instead of using screws.Once I realized the cabinet ********** has designed is not good for the farmhouse sink that I purchased a few months ago, I called Tao. Tao stated he has ordered a new cabinet for me and demanded extra for that cabinet. I asked if he could credit for the cabinet, I already paid for it but that is not the right one. He said no, he would not do that. Started using words like fxxx, crazy. I reiterated there seemed to be mistakes in design and order. Although I spent at least 8 to 10 hours on the design, he never mentioned the difference between a cabinet and a farmhouse type sink. He assumed and created the design and ordered for me. So, I stated that it is fair to ask for at least some credit for the cabinet and I pay the difference. He continued to those f-words, C-words. I asked him to stop using those words and talk responsibly. He continued to use words and scolding.

      Hi, Ravi

I'm sorry for the frustration you have, and I understand I should have never used the bad words. I do apologize for that! But please don't say my services and products are junks. This is an insult to both of us because we did this together! The design is what we agreed upon. Please take a look at the design, there was no farm sink on there. From the very beginning, there was never a farm sink on the design, nor you mention about it. Up till the installation date, you want me to build a farm sink cabinet, which I said it can be done, but extra material and labor is needed, and of course will increase the cost!  Which you don't agree and keeps saying my services and materials are junks! I spent a lot of time and effort into this trying to get things done in the right way! For a cabinet which is already assembled and installed, how can I give you any credit! And we can't really take it out (because it would cost even more material and labor) beside modifying it on the spot. We can still proceed, only if you are agreed to pay for the difference.

The coated crews my installer used are the Tapcon concrete screws. They are the right screws for anchoring the 2X4s to the concrete!

Again, I am sorry for the situation! But if you work with me, we can get it resolved!

      Thanks!

      Complaint: 17074531

I am rejecting this response because:

      I
have already paid money in advance in good faith, and in full. This
business (Cabinet and Stone City) did not honor the commitment and take
customers like me for a ride. In my more than 3 days of sitting with Lin
Tao, I assumed ********** asked the right question before designing the
cabinets. I had purchased the sink in early February 16, a few days
before we finalized cabinets. I assumed cabinet was generic to mount my
sink and I tried ********** to design the right cabinet.

Now after  realizing it was mistaken or omission, instead of admitting error and working with me for the cost part, he and the business chose not to fulfill the  commitment. Also caused the damage tot he floor.

so, I need the products and services committed to the money I paid and repair my floor with cracked tile first. Otherwise I expect this business to compensate me for the damages.

BBB, please help me take this to the right arbitration process. I do not trust this business anymore.

      Thank you

      Sincerely,

      *****************************

Please see the attached photo. It is a 3D rendering of the design. It is a regular sink cabinet, not a farm sink cabinet! The farm sink cabinet itself cost more than a regular sink cabinet, not to say extra labor and materials needed to install the cabinet! This is what we agreed upon! You don't assuming things. It is clearly your mistake. At this point, if you don't want to pay extra to fix your mistake, I can only process with what we agreed on. Let me know once you received the handles, so I can schedule my guys to finish the job. Just so you know, the extra cost I gave you already heavy discounted!

By the way, you did not pay in full, there is a balance not paid yet!

      Waiting on your response!
