They said they took my insurance but the doctor who I was billed under is not a provider. They took my insurance but they dont take my insurance. They charged me over $400 for a cleaning and **rays. I told them I didnt need the **rays. A tech did my cleaning, there was water damage on the ceiling. Im not sure the tools were clean and I think they messed with my gums to drum up more business. The worst dental experience of my life and Im not sure how this is legal.Initial Complaint

Hi,I have a dental claim and bill from the Dentist that do not match up. I've paid what my claim states I'm liable for, but the bill from the Dentist is over triple what I owe based on the insurance claim. The numbers on the insurance claim and my bill do not match and the balances don't add up. Additionally, the Dentist submitted two identical insurance claims with the same provider office/practice but with different Dentist names which seems like a red *************** denied the 2nd one.My insurance says they processed the claim with the same practice name, but a different Dentist's name. When I asked for details, the payment was sent to a different address and practice name associated with the Dentist's name and has not cleared. And now I have the collections warning bill after making two payments over the amount I am liable for even trying to work with my Dentist via email - so it's about to go to collections. None of the billing statements show my payments. They are not working with me and sent paper bills. This all seems suspicious. I have paid 4 payments totaling $1,974.90 which my insurance says I'm only liable for $650.20 and I'm still getting a bill for $1547.30 about to go into collections and I've already overpaid that. Since I'm liable for $650 now I also seek a refund of $1,324.70.At the end of the day and legally, do I pay the Dentist bill (I've overpaid now a total of $1,974.90), or do I pay what my Insurance says I'm liable for ($650.20) which I have? And the bill doesn't reflect or itemize any of my 4 payments. I'm not getting a good feeling about this and need some help. The big questions are:Why do the Dental Claims not align with Dentist billing?Where are there two Dental Claims with same practice, but different Dr. ********* do billing statements not itemize or recognize the full billing details showing my payments?Did Dr. ********************** ever receive payment from my Dental Insurance provider?Regards,*****************
