I hired College Hunks to move on October 25, 2023. They were pricier than the other companies that quoted me, but they seemed communicative which is something I value when it comes to movers. I went ahead and booked in advance. On the day before the move, they let me know what time I could expect them. On the day of the move, they called about an hour out. A woman and man showed up to move my stuff. Whoever spoke to me on the phone said that it would be a full service move. I have moved from IL to GA before and had a full service move which usually means taking things apart in order to fit it through the door. I didn't have much furniture this time around, but the one piece that would need taking apart was the **shaped desk. They took perhaps 45 minutes to move the items out of my room, and it was going to be an hour drive to my new place.The new home has never been lived in and is a brand new build. While taking my desk up the stairs, they made a dent in the ceiling. They tried to bring the desk into my room without taking it apart because it would have taken them too much time, but I asked them to just leave the desk in the loft area because they kept scuffing the walls. We took photos before and after the move and provided evidence of the damage, but College Hunks didn't want to take accountability for the damages. The largest piece of furniture was not large enough for them to consider the claim seriously. They offered $25 as compensation in order to repair the damage. If you are searching for movers, I think it's best to look elsewhere.

College HUNKS is a franchise organization. I am not sure which location performed your move but I know it was not ours as we currently do not have any HUNKETTE movers.
