I have been a member at retro fitness for over a year, I was injured and unable to go to the gym, I originally froze my account, after recovering, I found it was not the gym for me. I called and cancelled my account. The gentleman who cancelled my account indicated it was canceled and I would get an email. For 2 months no money was removed from my account. However this month I found money taken from my account. When I backtracked I found over 6 months of continuous payments. I called the gym to speak to them, however they said they are unable to refund me my money. I have seen over 15 complaints online for the same thing. The franchise is stating they have no association with them.

Pure Core Personal Training exited Retro Fitness in 2019 and all accounts were taken in house by the gyms. The member will need to address the matter with Retro directly as they are in possession of account and Pure Core PT is no longer in operation or in possession of the account or any associated payments.

About one year ago, I canceled my subscription with Retro Fitness gymnasium in ********** ******** due to staff rudeness towards myself and other members. Believing that the employee abided by my request, I went to join an unaffiliated health club.Unfortunately, the employee never canceled my subscription and my credit card continued to be charged. It is my fault that I didnt see the charges until I switched credit cards and their headquarters tried to reach out to me. When I spoke with them over the phone, the customer service agent stated that I would have to return to the ********** location in person, which I did; twice. Both times they stated that there was no manager to cancel my subscription. I later received a call from the manager when I was at work and despite me telling her the situation, she said that she would not cancel my subscription. I am not looking for a refund; all I want is for this company to stop billing me as of this July of 2022 and cancel my subscription. Their business practices seem to be very dishonorable and shady since this company claimed in the beginning that a customer can cancel at any time. Thank you for your assistance.

Redwood Personal Training has no record of any member under this name and has not serviced accounts in ******** since 2019. All sessions were taken in house by the gym and any concerns will need to be directed to Retro Fitness; Redwood Personal Training has not received any payment for over 3 years and has no information available on this member's account.

I signed up for a physical trainer to help me get in shape and live a healthier lifestyle. Since September, I have been assigned four different trainers who have constantly cancelled on me, could not meet with me when they said they would, ignored our sessions and then just quit. There is no manager present to represent the company. The trainers do not show up to their jobs, and my money is being wasted on a one year contract because no progress is being made on my own. I held up my end of the contract and want to get out of it early but they are trying to charge me $432 on top of an extra $200 for another month AND refuses to refund me $300 for 6 unused sessions due to trainers cancelling on me. The inconsistency and unprofessionalism of this company is a disgrace. I know several clients from previous years who werent charged to cancel their contract but suddenly I have to be? This company needs a reality check. I want my contract terminated immediately at no cost, with a refund of $300 for unused sessions.

I've been sexually harassed by my personal trainer and he started to cancel my session every week with all kind of excuses (I have saved all of those messages ). The gym is still charging me $280/ month and asked me to pay double if I want to break my contract. Started on May 21st, he'd give me all kind of excuses such as he's not feeling well due to the weather or he needs to go talk to his lawyer, etc. I ended up training one day a week or no training if he's on vacation, but I still have to pay them $280/month. In the past 2 months, I've been attempting to contact the club manager to break the contract and ask for refund. He says he will need to talk to his boss and will give me an update after he's boss come back from vacation. Two months later, their bank company kept calling me to pay for the missing payments and the past due fees. On Tuesday, I tried to call the gym more than 6 times, and it hangs up on me immediately (I think they blocked my number)

I signed up with 10 GYM in OKC in August of 2017 and they talked me into signing up for personal training. I went to the gym ONE time and then had to move back to Sand Springs. After many calls, I was told that my membership was cancelled. Today I received an email stating that I owed $90 and that my account was past due. I called the number provided, 855.269.4620, which, of course rings to a service that can answer no questions, nor provide any information. They can only take payments. The person did answer only said that my account was "active." After searching the website to the link provided on the email, http://www.clubready.com/cl/lighthousefitness.asp , I found two toll free numbers, neither of which are answered by a human. I then went to my bank today, only to find out that they have been debiting my account $90 every month for the past four years. I am requesting, at a MINIMUM, that my account is cancelled, the "past due" balance is zeroed and a refund of $3,240 is issued.
