I had my own scooter worked on by this shop, and bought a two more all at the same time. The shop performed work on one of my own scooters, and one of the two that I purchased from them. Upon completion of the work, one scooter almost lost its rear wheel on the first ride out causing extreme risk of personal injury/loss of life. The second scooters carburetor top fell off on its 2nd ride due to improper installation (the carburetor was a band new item installed by the shop but no bolts where tightened). The 2nd scooter also almost lost the spare wheel which could have been catastrophic for any vehicle following.All incidents are recorded via a helmet mounted GoPro.Additionally the 2nd scooter I bought in Feb this year from this shop was supposed to have a title, and the owner said it would be provided when it was delivered. However, upon deliver the title was missing. I've made repeated requests via phone, text and even in person in **, but 5 months later the shop has still refused to furnish the title. I have excuse after excuse from them.Finally the fully restored mint condition SX scooter I sent them for work was returned with damage to the paint and front fender. At this stage I am giving the shop one final opportunity to send the missing title, but I have just finished collecting all the video, text exchanges and a witness statement for litigation as needed.Initial Complaint

I contacted ***************** in October of 2022 and inquired on the repair of a scooter engine. The owner, *************, stated he would be able to inspect it and give me an estimate on the repairs. I dropped it off at his shop on October 20, 2022 and paid him $170 for the engine inspection. He inspected my engine and provided me with an initial estimate on January 18, 2023. After we went back and forth on the parts selection, we finally settled on an estimate for $803.18. I paid the balance of my estimate on Feb 9, 2023. I contacted *** on March 10 with no reply. I contacted him again on March 31st and he stated the engine would be done by the following week. I had not heard from him and contacted him again on May 23, 2023 with no response, and again on June 8, 2023 with no response from him until June 14, ************************************************************************ the following week. Since then I have reached out to him via email and attempted to call his shop on multiple occasions, with no response. I have been calling and emailing his business and he is not responding. It has now surpassed a year since he's had my scooter engine. I would like my engine back in working order as promised.Initial Complaint

I dropped off a scooter with parts in December of 2021. A year has gone by I have paid 2 Invoices totaling approximately $2000 ********* work still have not seen any updated photos or anything on this project I have tried to contact him a number of times and when I do get ahold of him It's nothing but excuses This is a vintage **** scooter he assured me he was capable and able to do it . He has not done anything other than take money and basically steal my scooter And parts It's going to cost me more than the scooter's worth taking him to court he probably knows this Please help me I don't know where else to turn .
