I paid $72.28 to GLO Melanin for two bars of soap, a bottle of yoni oil and a jar of cream. The advertisement says it is safe and has been tested on sensitive skin. I used all the products faithfully until I developed rashes on my abdomen, arm and face. I have had problem skin all over my body my whole life and I wanted to give these products a try due to them being all natural. After I broke out I continued to use the oil and the soap and cream on my legs since I had not developed a rash on my legs. I wanted to give the products the full 30 days to work despite having the rashes. I had to go to the doctor to get a steroid cream to treat the rashes. They have a 30 day guaranteed refund policy and I have not had any improvement on my legs in the 30 days, so I reached out to the company. I submitted my refund request through links in an email sent by Glo Melanin on July 1st. I have provided the screenshots of the screens I saw to submit the request. I clicked the 'contact us' button. I entered my info and stated why I wanted the refund. Days passed and I did not hear back. I sent a follow up email on July 7th by clicking 'contact us' on another email. I stated everything I stated on the 1st email. I heard back and I was asked to send before and after pictures, which were not required but I complied. I was then asked about the 1st request I sent and what email I used and I stated that I wasn't sure if it was my Gmail or Yahoo so I provided both. The final email I received on July 8th was to inform me that the 1st request I sent was not received or could not be located and they regret to inform me that my refund was not approved because it has passed the 30 days. I do not feel that they should be able to keep my money because there was a flaw on their website link. I gave them the 30 days when I could have just stopped when I developed the rashes. This is not good customer service, I wanted the products to work but they just didn't for me.
