We have sent several emails to CEO, *****************************, and other members of her team regarding a refund for a vendor event in *********** that has never taken place. Our last emails sent on November 1, 2021 and November 11, 2021 and January 5, 2022 have gone unanswered. It has now been ***************************************************** Swaddle and Swoon event run by The Big Fake Wedding. This event was initially set to take place in March of 2020. It was understandably rescheduled due to Covid and has now been rescheduled a total 4 times with no concrete reschedule date for 2022. They recently sent an email on February 2, 2022 to "let you know that we are still working on confirming a date and will update you as soon as possible." This is the general gist of many emails, we suspect to prevent a landslide of refund requests like ours. We rearranged our schedules each time there was a change and even paid to travel from our respective states to be at the November 7, 2021 event, only to have it canceled 10 days before the event was set to occur. As you'll see in the attachments they confirmed the early Nov. 2021 event and sent out information in October 2021 only to reschedule a few weeks later. As a small business that has struggled to stay open during a pandemic, the money we paid for this event is precious to us and can go to much more important resources to keep us and our team running. It is illegal and unethical to withhold our funds indefinitely with continual promises to reschedule. There has been zero effort to try and resolve our complaints and they have stopped responding to our correspondence all together. The only correspondence we receive is the mass emails sent to all vendors that they'll be in touch. We sent a refund demand letter on January 5, 2022 and have received zero response. We do not wish to do business with this company and cannot support their event, no matter when it is rescheduled for and request a full refund in the amount of $395.
