I lived in this apartment complex for 6 years. I have filed a complaint previously with BBB to help me to solve a problem with the same business. In the first year I lived in unit 924 Peachtree Station Cir, then I moved to **** Peachtree Station Cir for the rest of the 6 years. When I first lived with them I paid $300 for security deposit. When I moved to the other unit I didnt pay security deposit in the first year but in the second year the make me pay anther $100 for security deposit. The complex during this 6 years went through 3 different property management companies and 2 landlords as much as I know. I moved from their apartment on June 30, 2021. Before I move I had to be sure that the apartment is completely clean and I closed up all pics holes. After I moved with several months they sent me a **** with $270 not because I left the apartment uncleaned or I broke something in the apartment but for cleaning the carpet and paint the apartment. As much as I know these stuff are natural wear and tear that apartments management dont ask people to pay for it. The original **** was $370 after deducting the $100 security deposit and didnt include the $300 security deposit transferred from the first apartment. I raised the issue with them and requested to look up their records for my old security deposit. Its worth to mention is the apartment was old and not clean, I attached pic to show the condition of the kitchen vanity and the lack of good services regarding the pest control I had that a lot. So the carpet wasnt new anyway and the apartment was old. I left the carpet vacuumed and no holes on it. If they had some pics for damage in the carpet or the walls they need to send if for me. They werent even tried to solve the problem and threatened me with the collection agency. I told them to find out about my security deposit and Im willing to solve the problem. They send the **** to the collection and they post it in my credit report.
