On 12/12/22 American home shield sent out Ambient air *** to inspect my heating unit. *** arrived to my residence and checked the outside unit and the furnace in the attic. He than proceeded to advised me that all I needed was a compressor. He replaced the compressor and advised American home shield the compressor was replaced. I began to noticed later in the day that my thermostat was placed on emergency and blowing out cold air. I called ambient air and advised them ***** the customer service rep told me to ***rease the temperature which I did, still could air. I called American home shield and they advised me that ambient air refused to send a tech back out which was a bit weird to me. American home shield than sent out May heating and air. The technician than advised me the previous technician damaged my furnace and I needed a replacement. I than contacted American home shield and Ambient air. ***** from ambient air ****** said they werent sending back out a technician and hung up the phone and ever s***e hasnt responded to any of my calls. Ambient air is solely and fully responsible for replacing my unit because I never had and furnace issues prior I am seeking for my unit to be replaced before I proceed with legal actions.Business response

Ambient Air did receive a service call through American Home Shield (AHS) on 12/6/22 which was a transfer vender from another company who would not service said customer. 12/12/22 ******************** sent our lead service tech *** and he diagnosed a faulty compressor for upstairs and a faulty defrost board for for downstairs. *** did do a visual inspection of the indoor units and checked filters. No repairs or diagnostics were performed on indoor air handler (furnace), customer stated to our tech she would rather just have the system replaced. We submitted repairs through AHS for approval, repairs of faulty parts were approved. 12/16/22 repairs were made a compressor on upstairs outdoor unit and defrost board on downstairs outdoor unit were made, again no repairs or diagnostics were performed on upstairs indoor air handler (furnace).
Customer placed a RECALL on 12/19/22 and ********************** made a return trip to said customers property. Customers complaint was that she was cold. Tech noted that thermostat for upstairs was set to 70 degree's and reading 70 degree's. Tech then increased temperature to 73 degrees and waited for thermostat to satisfy to 73, once this occurred tech advised homeowner to increase temperature if she was cold and she stated she did not want to pay increased utility bills and wanted a new furnace, again no repairs or diagnostics were performed on upstairs air handler (furnace). RECALL was called in to AHS and denied for no mechanical failures.
MAY heating and air was called out for a SECOND opinion 12/27/22 and diagnosed a faulty thermal expansion valve (TXV). MAY technician called AHS for authorization and claim was denied due to contract less than 30 days old & pre existing conditions.
Customer called MAY heating and air 12/28/22 and stated she did not agree with ***** diagnosis
Customer called MAY heating and air 1/04/23 and stated Ambient Air broke her furnace and wanted MAY to fix it
The issue with this untrue complaint is that customer is not being honest and is claiming we broke her upstairs furnace which is actually an air handler which we have not worked on, serviced or done any type of diagnostics to this said item. She is also making a false claim about MAY heating and air that they told her we broke the furnace which in reality they reported to AHS that said unit just had a faulty part, nonetheless her policy went into effect 12/03/22 so truly no repairs should have ever been authorized due to AHS 30 day policy. She is also not being honest about us not coming back out as we did on 12/19/22 and call was denied and then again denied by AHS via MAY heating and air. After two denials from two different companies and customers constant harassments, threats and demands. 1/16/23 we called AHS and had her placed on do not service list.
I have spoken with AHS contractor relations and was informed that they would not be replacing customers furnace, she can either pay COD or proceed to use AHS upgrade program to have unit replaced. We follow all AHS guidelines and are also a preferred vender with a 4.8 out 5 star rating over the last 6 years. We are an honest company and pride our self in doing the job correctly.
Also I have attached Ambient Air and MAY dispatch documented call log for said customer.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have video recording and conversations from AHS and myself in regards to the findings. I never had an issue with furnace and no reports indicated that until the technician *** came an inspected my units. I made no false claims the recordings are proof. If you are denying responsibility to repair/ replace my unit. My next step will be to take legal action against your company.
