      I bought a 6x12 enclosed trailer from **** *** in ************ ******* 10 months ago. They sell golf carts and trailers. So I paid $5,000 for this brand new trailer. Yesterday the side door started sagging. I closed it and drove home from a job. While on the interstate someone pulled next to me and said, there is stuff flying off your trailer. I pulled over and saw it was the side door. It just blew off!!! I went back and found it. When I looked at it I noticed the whole door is built with 1-1/2" wood frame with Styrofoam in the middle !!! SO cheaply made. I then saw the bottom piece of wood was dry rotted and that is what failed. I called the **** *** where I bought it and they told me there is a 1 year warranty on the trailer and to call South Georgia Cargo. I called them and spoke to a Theresa and she said to send pictures and I also did a video. I called back to another woman said to me, what is the problem. I asked her if she got the pictures and she said yes but the trailer is out of warranty. I said it is supposed to be 1 year. She told me the year starts when the trailer leaves their place!!! So when **** *** got the trailer from you to sell your product on their lot, that is when the 1 year warranty starts!! She says yup. I told her that is not right! She hung up on me. They DO NOT stand by their products and rip you off with the warranty. Their product failed, the door actually dry rotted and fell apart on the highway. I tried to explain to the woman that if I buy a brand new ford at a car place, the warranty doesn't start when the vehicle leaves the factory. It starts when the customer buys it. I asked her about a replacement door and she said I am not spending $3000 to ship you a door. I just want a door. I have $10,000 in tools in the trailer. I need it for work. ****

      Bought a trailer from these people for *******. Drove 5 1/2 hours to pick it up. A half hour from my door the trailer hitch welds broke and came apart from the frame. Trailer was brand new and empty. I had to wait for 3 hours for a tow company to respond. South Georgia Cargo refused to give me my money back until they picked up their trailer from the tow company. Best part. They couldnt refund my credit card because they couldnt get a hold of Discover Card. Called me and told me I had to do it. When I told them that I already paid the **** Company the ****, could you send me a check for the amount. They said no that THEY might get screwed out of the ******* !! Just got off the phone with Discover Card. They are going to do an investigation and it will take 30 days!!! These people are rude. (S.G.C.)They dont have customer service. They hate their customers!! I have pictures of the trailer failure. I am lucky that it didnt happen on the interstate and my motorcycle wasnt in the trailer when the failure occurred. Could have been an obituary instead of a complaint. Stay away from this business and this company, SOUTH GEORGIA CARGO.

      We were closed for two weeks for vacation. The customer was told that as soon as we had the trailer in our possession we would offer a full refund. The trailer was brought back after business hours on July 1st. When I came in the office on July 11th to catch up on some orders I spoke to ******************** and tried to reverse the charge on our credit card machine. It would not allow me to. I had our office manager ****** reach out to the company that we do our transactions through and she could never reach a live agent. We told ******************** that if he would reach out to Discover that we would write a statement immediately to say to release his funds back to him. After this complaint was sent to me, I reached out to him and asked what was going on. He then told me that Discover wanted to do a 30 day investigation. We have tried to do everything on our end to release the funds back to him but we can't help what the credit card company is doing. He asked for us to issue him a check and I told him I couldn't do that because that is not the method of payment he used when purchasing the trailer. I did reach out to the dealer and told them to refund his deposit. I am sincerely sorry that this is taking more time than expected, but we have done everything on our part.
