1. He showed up early to quote the job, get the deposit check and to get paid, havent seen him since, even though he signed off on the work as complete and it was over 2 months after the job when I fired him.2. Painted half of the walk around deck in the WRONG COLOR STAIN! I had to correct it.3. After he got paid, we scheduled 5 follow-up visits to go over the job, all of which he missed due to various excuses including My truck is broke (starter)(Mon mtg rescheduled for Tues morning), I didnt get my truck back until this evening (skipped the Tues scheduled morning mtg with NO text or phone update), Im running behind (Wed 800 am meeting, rescheduled to 900 am), Im not feeling well (Wed 900 am mtg rescheduled to next Mon), No show for Mon mtg (no text or phone call).4. Did not thoroughly stain a patio fence. Applied a thin, mottled coat of stain using a paint gun instead of brushes, very blotchy finish that needs another coat of stain.5. Did not thoroughly stain backyard fence. 6. Failed to paint 6x6 posts correctly (skipped 2 all together) in red paint.7. Failed to adequately protect surfaces from overspray. His reliance on using a paint gun has resulted in damage to my finished patio surfaces, decorative rock, and deck furniture. This will cost me several hundred dollars to remediate, not to mention my time to do it.8. Failed to properly prep surfaces for paint. Instead of cleaning the deck properly to include debris that gets in between the deck slats, he simply painted in the seeds, needles, and debris.9. Painted half the porch in the wrong red color paint and then tried to sell me on that color rather than immediately correct it. I made it a point to give him the exact color codes for the paint to be used before the job began.10. Texted me that is was going to cost him a 4-500$ loss for his mistake.In the end, Im out 5k on this job and I realized I was no longer paying him to finish the job but rather, I was paying him. TO. JUST. GO. AWAY
