In January 2023, I was referred to ******************************* by *********************** of ***************.. ************** stated to me that he does provide housing accommodations for persons with mental health concerns. I spoke to ******************************* on January 18, 2023 about providing housing for my son, ******************. Since it was January 18, 2023 ************** prorated the cost of housing to be $300.00 (three hundred dollars), which was half of the monthly cost). I asked whether food was provided and **************** said that I should add $150.00 (one hundred and fifty dollars) if I wanted food to be included. **************** agreed to provide housing and food to *************************** whom I mentioned had some health issues. I paid him the same day by cash app $449.00 plus $1.00 (which I did to test that the money was transmitted correctly). My son never went to the *********** residence and never received housing nor meals for the money which was paid. I contacted ******************************* on Monday, February 20, 2023 to request a refund since my son never met him nor was provided any housing nor meals. **************** refused to return the money or any of it. He had never mentioned that the money was non refundable. The arrangement was done by phone.**************** had also agreed to pick up ****************** from *******, ******* since the housing was at *****************************************************************************. I paid **************** by cashapp on January 18, 2023. receipts attached. I subsequently checked on line and saw ******************************* was listed as a transportation company.
