December 31st 2021 I purchased a gun safe from gunsafes.com. The website stated **** weeks for delivery. It has now been over 12 weeks and I still don't have my safe. I called the company and asked for an update. They emailed me back stating it will be an additional 4 weeks. I explained that this time frame does not work for me and it is not in the window of time on the website. I asked for a refund. ***** the manager stated it is a custom safe and once production has started that no refunds are given. This is unacceptable. This company took my money and cannot provide me with the product within the time they stated. I am seeking a full refund or my product immediately.Business response

We have spoken with Mr. ****** and explained to him that his safe was in paint and should be shipping out this week. Manufacturing delays are occurring through out the industry due to lingering effects of the pandemic and we have no control over that. Custom built safes are not refundable once the safe is in production and is stated as part of our policy.
His safe will be shipping this week and he will receive a ship confirmation email, long with tracking once it departs the warehouse.

they said I would have shipping information and they lied. The week has gone by. No shipping info, no phone call, no email, absolutely no update from the company and still NO SAFE!! All I want is the product I PAID FOR 4 MONTGS AGO.I am rejecting this response because:

As with all custom orders, these cannot be canceled as outlined on our website once the safe is in manufacturing.
We understand the frustration of delays, unfortunately in today's world with shortages of qualified employees and supply chain issues these delays are out of our control and the manufacturer. The estimated build times on these safes are about 12 weeks, order was placed over the holidays on 12/31 and was queued into manufacturing the week of Jan 3rd, 2022. With the holidays, the build time was about 13 weeks, one week past the orginial estimate.

Order number ****** was placed and paid for in April 2021 with a projected delivery on July 2021. I called every month and was told it had not arrived yet until October 2021 when i cancelled my order. It has been over a month and my refund has not been processed. I want my money instead of empty promises of a refund that go nowhere.Business response

Unfortunately with the port of entry delays on containers arriving from overseas we don't have an exact date when the product will be arriving into ******.
We're not able to refund back to the credit card used on the original transaction, but a refund has been issued via a check which should arrive on or about the 29th of November.
