This company has no idea what it is doing! They were hired to adjust a large sliding door and level my floor. After 3 visits, my floor is still uneven and the door now won't even open. They keep demanding to get paid. I paid 30% and will pay the remainder when what I contracted for is done. I am starting to think this may fall under the category of elder abuse in Georgia. That is a criminal felony. You cannot scam elders in my state. Glad I read here that the warranty requires a service visit as they said go ahead and pay, we will come back under warranty to get it straight after time is allowed for things to settle.Review from marion t

We had a foundation beamed and had jacks put in to support the house on 3/20/23. It went well, when they were done installing I went back to the master bath where floor had been sagging and it still was so I asked them to go and check it. They did he adjusted it and told me to call the office in a week or two and get them to come out & re-check and adjust if needed. So I called today. Was told I needed to let it sit for awhile to settle. Then was told that the guy had come back out and adjusted the jacks and took pictures on 3/22/23 Two days after work was done. what happened to letting it settle? Why were we not informed that a man would be crawling around under the house?? But here is the kicker, they charged 6900 dollars for 5 jacks and 3 beams. ok and they were great at selling the 25 year warranty that is transferable BUT what they don't tell you IS THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY $185 A YEAR WHEN THEY COME OUT TO INSPECT THE WORK THAT THEY DID. THAT IS THEIR SERVICE FEE. IF YOU DON'T PAY IT YOUR WARRANTY IS NULL AND VOID. SO BASICALLY YOU ARE A PRISONER TO THEM FOR 25 YEARS IF YOU WANT THE WARRANTY YOU SO HANDSOMELY PAID FOR AND THEY DO NOT TELL YOU IT COSTS YOU $185 A YEAR TO HAVE YOUR WARRANTY. WHAT COMPANY DOES BUSINESS THIS WAY.? THEY TELL YOU IT IS IN YOUR CONTRACT WELL I DIDN'T SEE IT NOR DID MY DAD. WE ARE SELLING THE HOUSE SO NOW THE BUYERS WILL HAVE TO PAY THAT OR LOSE THE WARRANTY. THEY ACT SO PROFESSIONAL SENDING YOU THIS PACKET IN THE MAIL TO CONVINCE YOU THAT THEY ARE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. YEAH THEY ARE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO AND THAT IS SWINDELING MONEY OUT OF PEOPLE. THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISING "25 YEAR WARRANTY THAT TRANSFERS WITH TH E HOUSE!" WHAT A JOKELowcountry Foundation and Crawl Space Repair Response

*************** sorry that you feel upset. We came out to check and make sure the work we did was still in place. Our employee had to crawl under the house to preform the inspection and I am sorry you were not notified that he would need to access under your house to inspect. As far as the warranty goes the $185.00 service fee is for our service tech to come out and inspect your SmartJacks and PowerBrace Beams to see if we need to preform any maintenance or adjustments to your product.Review from E. I would not recommend this so call company. After charging us for over $26000. For original bid, after they started they said designer figure about our outer walls wrong. So we had to pay another $5000. Then when they came back for first service we were told they had put drain in wrong location and it needed to be moved 15. And would cost us another $210. Just because they made another mistake. Well their man came and moved it only about 6 foot when he finished he said there was no charge well next day I get a call from them saying I still had to pay $210. This has been a joke from the beginning. *** told friends no way would we ever recommend Low Country Foundation Repair. ********************* ******* **Lowcountry Foundation and Crawl Space Repair Response

************, I apologize for you being upset. The original work done on the home in 2022 you stated the job went well, we installed a triple safe pump, foam walls, drainage mat and clean space. At time of annual maintenance we noticed that the discharge line needed to be extended. We extended the discharge line at no cost to you. The $210.00 was a service fee charge for our employee to go out to your home and preform an inspection on your triple safe pump. We take it apart, clean it, inspect it, replace anything that needs to be replaced and clean the area. I am sorry again for the misunderstanding.Customer Response

That is all a lie. We were told the charge was for moving the line. Your man could not have taken pump apart and cleaned, he wasnt under house 5 minutes when he told me about the drain needed to be moved. He even stated he did not understand why the installer put it where they did. As far as it be extended it was moved 6 and is a mess now. It pours water back under the house. But Ill correct it my self, your company dont seem to be capable of getting it right.Review from Jason S

Work was extremely sub par. After calling the company back out to my house 4 times they still didnt get it right. Their work caused my power bill to go from $300 to over $600 per month. Foundation support joists installed were warped and do not sit flat on the pillars. One of them was cut and is not split down the middle. Job looks awful and there are still holes in the vapor barrier. They were quick to get paid but did not do a good job.Lowcountry Foundation and Crawl Space Repair Response

It was a long road to get to the job completion. Much longer than ever expected. My rating is based on the following. The interaction with the team was of a professional demeanor throughout. The team met with my plumber concerning the work that was required to assist them in their work. Mr. ******* was the lead in the team that completed the work. His approach from our initial meeting was very professional and courteous. He took time to discuss what would be done to complete the installation. Throughout the installation, he took time to explain what was happening and the expected outcome. Prior to leaving, Mr. ******* went back through the work done, had me check the work inside, and gave brief warranty information.Great customer service from the team. To the team members: Mr. *******, Mr. ****** and ************, thank you. Thank you for giving the time needed to deliver a good job. Attention to detail is very important.Lowcountry Foundation and Crawl Space Repair Response

After $12,000+ to add a drainage system to our foundation wall that leaked, the repair leaked after the very first rain. Then, after they supposedly redid the work, added an extra pump (that they tried to say I needed to buy but then installed for free because they obviously realized the job needed more than they estimated). But, even after redoing the entire job, after the next rain, the water overflowed to the adjacent walls (that NEVER had leaks before)! . They want to now charge over $7,000 to waterproof the other two walls that did not ever have leak issues because those were listed as recommended when they installed the other wall. (They were not RECOMMENDED.. they were suggested OPTIONS on the estimate)! We were NOT told that their repair may overflow to those walls! This company is a scam! DO NOT USE!Lowcountry Foundation and Crawl Space Repair Response

Hi *****. We can certainly understand your frustration and are sorry to hear you are not happy with the end result. We know how important it is to have your basement dry all the time and understand the investment to protect your home. We honored our warranty and addressed the water intrusion along the area we completed work by adding a sump pump at no cost to you. At the initial inspection, our design specialist discussed the need for a full perimeter system with you and your husband to ensure the entire basement is protected from water intrusion. It was also listed on page 4 of your contract, along with the additional price, under Recommendations to your project- Homeowner is recommended to have entire basement waterproofed to prevent any future water issues. You chose a partial system to only address three walls of your basement. Water will take the path of least resistance. Since the waterproofing system is doing its job along the areas we completed work, the water is searching for another pathway in. The contract clearly states If the entire perimeter of the basement, crawl space or foundation was not treated, then additional work at an additional charge could be necessary to extend the system or treat other areas or other problems not addressed by this work. We believe the system we installed is working as intended and we clearly communicated our recommendations for keeping your entire basement dry.Customer Response

I was not advised that it would be necessary to treat the entire basement for the CURRENT leaking condition. If the evaluater had said that the water would probably OVERFLOW the repair, I would have gone with a different company. The "option" of doing the entire basement was NOT mentioned as necessary at this time. Who would agree to a partial repaor that alloweed a basement to continue to leak iafter a repair in 2 rains and less than 3 months? This is not JUST a "path of least resistence" issue. Those 2 wals have never lealed in 50 years! The "option" to do the one wall should not have been presented it it would not have kept the basement dry for your warranty period! Poor workmanship and hiding behind fine print in your proposal is just SHADY practice.Review from Audra D

Hired them to install a sump pump system and a battery backup sump in my basement in ********, ** Sept. 2021. Afterward, there was a lot of rainwater sitting in a puddle on the basement floor for several days. Because their newly finished concrete surface around the sump pump system was much higher than the old concrete surface, the water would not drain into the sump system. The original concrete area had a floor drain and was lower so that water would flow into it. I called to complain and sent photos. An inspector came and said I should have my concrete guy resurface the floor higher where the water was sitting and slope it downward toward the sump area! I told him the newly finished sump area was too high now compared to before. After they charged me thousands of dollars for this job not done correctly, now I am supposed to spend more money for concrete floor resurfacing???? Their installation was supposed to solve my basement problem, but it is not solved at all due to being too high for water to drain into it. They never offered to come back and fix this problem either after I complained. All they are doing is hounding me to pay them the rest of the money now.Lowcountry Foundation and Crawl Space Repair Response
