I went into the hospital due to my water breaking at 35 weeks. Someone came around to do an ultrasound to check on the baby and make sure he was doing ok. Everything checked out and the ultrasound tech went on her way. Later on about 15 mins later the ultrasound tech came back stating she forgot to get the babys weight because they didnt tell her to and did another ultrasound. Now I am receiving a $460 bill from them for the second ultrasound as my insurance is not covering it since the second ultrasound was not medically necessary. I have been calling this business for months now and you can never get in touch with anyone who can look into it and I dont want a medical bill going into collection but I also shouldnt be responsible for something they forgot to do. How do I know this isnt just an attempt to get more money since no one will ever call back to get resolved. Terrible billing/business practice and I believe it is done intentionally.

I am posting here because I don't know what to do. On 01/25/2024, I entrusted ******************************** with my personal belongings and my safety, but unfortunately, they failed on both counts. Despite my pleas for help, they refused to transfer me to another hospital, leaving me feeling abandoned and vulnerable. My attempts to retrieve my lost belongings, including essential documents and means of communication, were met with indifference and apathy from the staff. They claimed to have searched but refused to review security footage from the incident, adding to my frustration and distress. "We don't do that" - Security. Even law enforcement's involvement has yielded little help, as the hospital is so big that nobody seems to be concerned with helping someone who is now homeless directly because I attempted to seek help for suicidal ideation in the first place. The loss of my possessions has left me financially destitute and homeless, compounding the emotional and psychological toll of this ordeal. It's clear that ******************************** failed in its duty of care towards its patrons.I plead for immediate restitution for the damages incurred. Moreover, I implore ******************************** to investigate and prevent such incidents in the future. I will not stop talking about what happened to me at ******************************** to anybody who will listen, including legal options and public. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Your advice and support are greatly appreciated.Warm regards,*****************

On 7/19/2023, I was taken to the ******************************** due to having high blood pressure (The urgent care suggested I go to the nearest hospital immediately because they stated my blood pressure was in stroke/heart attack range). ******************************** was the nearest facility. I arrived there around 4:00pm and they took my blood pressure and confirmed it was indeed high. They had me wait in the ** waiting room for 12 hours before I was called. ***************** was horrible- the way they treated and talked to other patients that were waiting). Once I was finally called, 12 hours later, I was placed in the room where my blood pressure was checked- still high. It was another hour before the doctor came in. The last two hours of my wait consisted of taking blood, the doctor giving me a 7-day prescription, and being told to go see a doctor. I waited from 4pm-6am, 14 hours, just to get served the last hour-blood taken and a 7-day prescription. I received a medical bill that amounted to $1994.00. I went up to the ***************** to discuss my concerns about the bill. I wanted it Emergency room description itemized because, although I understood the lab being $594.70, I did not understand the ** being $1399.30 for waiting for 12 hours. I spoke with a person named *******, in the financial aid/billing department. ******* asked to see my bill and told me she will take care of it. She gave me a new bill and told me that I only had to pay $367.02. I paid that amount that day and received a receipt. A few weeks later, I received a bill from ************** Innovations LLC stating that I owe $1324.00. Thinking this was a scam, I ignored it because I was told the bill was paid. Furthermore, I did not receive any phone calls from ***************** or a statement from ************** Innovations stating they were representing *****************.I am attaching 3 documentation that have 3 different amounts. There is no clarification from this hospital.
