On 6/9/2022 @ 11:27am I went to Special Rims **** Located in Forest Park to get 4 new tires for the amount of $439.92 which included ************************************** weight, Hi Speed Balance Size 15, Tire Disposal Fee, and Environmental Fees-State Mandated Charges. After leaving I noticed when driving, my car was very wobbly and it was not driving like that prior to getting the tires put on. I returned back to the shop on 6/11/2022 and the owner stated he was short staff I would have to come back Monday morning unless you want to wait, I waited and he came back and said it was my Wheel Barrier (With a nasty attitude) I told him it couldn't be my wheel barrier because it was driving perfectly fine, before replacing the tires. So I left and went to another shop and the guy test drove the car and he also noticed the car was driving funny. The mechanic drove back to his shop and check tires and noticed Left rear tire all lug nuts was loose. The Mechanic gave the Tire shop a courtesty call and spoke with ******************* let him know the issue and the owner was very defensive and stated " How do I know you didn't do it". The issue is, this could've been a tragic ending. The owner did not apologize or anything instead he had an attitude.Business response

I would like to respond to the customer complaint file to get us here at ********************. We take all complaints seriously as we try to take care of and satisfy each of our customers. In this particular case the customer came in and purchased four tires..a couple days later she came back complaining that the tires road rough. So we brought the vehicle in and inspected the wheels and tires and notice that the hub bearing was bad. We also offered to swap the tires out with a different brand and the customer paid the difference. Customer declined and wanted to have a refund and keep the tires. Unfortunately we told her that we can't do that and that's not how it works here at Special Rims so the customer left. Again we value all of our customers. And we try to make our customers happy to the best of our abilities.

The manager is still being dishonest about what happened when I return to the establishment. I didn't ask for a refund and free tires I simply ask that he check the problem out but he tried to take advantage of a female and try to get more money out of me buy telling me that I needed tire rods.I left and got a second opinion only to find out that special rims didn't tighten my lug nuts up on my tires. The manager is not taking responsibility of their negligent nor did he apologize I could have had an accident.
