Petland would absolutely love to assist you in resolving the current concern but we need additional information. Please contact the Claims Center in your packet of information or call the store so we can give it to you. We take great pride in selling quality pets from USDA licensed breeders and do not have issues with breed integrity so we take this type of concern quite seriously. We purchased two puppies through Petland Dalton the first was a male shih Tzu who was suppose to be not neutered and at first vet visit we found out that he had been fixed already but decided to keep him. We went back a couple days later and bought a female Pomeranian within a day or so of having her realized that my daughter is very allergic to her so much that she has had to start using her inhaler numerous times a day is constantly sneezing and coughing. She has to stay somewhere besides her home to get any relief from the symptoms. We have contacted both Pet land and the claims and warranty department the regular number as well as email and via the emergency number and the store tells us they can't do anything unless they speak with her and she will not return calls or emails it's been a week or more since we started contacting her my daughters health is at risk and we have so much money in this puppy to just sell it for nothing all we are asking is to trade her for a hypo allergenic breed of the same value or lessBusiness response

We are sorry for your situation. Unfortunately the store policy is that we do not return pets. It is clearly stated in the warranty contract that we do not allow pets to be returned for allergies to the pet or the pet to other things. We cannot change this policy or we would have to allow all types of returns. We cannot risk bringing foreign bacteria into the kennel and exposing the remaining pets to potential illness. It is not in the best interest of the pet to be put back into a kennel when it has already been on a home schedule. We have to also think of the pet and their wellbeing. We have a responsibility to them. Your situation is unfortunate. We encourage you to use your local vet or PETFINDER.COM to rehome the pet. We are sincerely sorry that we are unable to assist you.
